When I go full screen Chrome opens separate desktop

This is driving me NUTS. Is anyone else having this issue and can you help fix it? Basically when I go full Chrome only it opens it in a new desktop. I've tried F3 to close down separate desktops and close down to one but it keeps reverting every single time.

Any ideas?

Sorry for my poor English. Not quite sure what's the problem.

If you mean every time you click the little green circle for full screen, and it automatically make the new full screen window a separate "space", That's normal.

If you want max size window but not real full screen, then you can hold option to click that little green button.
