Had you already installed the GM? If not, that was probably the update you had

Yeah, every hour I'm seeing lots of new app updates in the App Store. My guess is that they are just processing the backlog of critical updates before they push the button on iOS 14.

After 12 PDT and still nothing here. I don't know if I need 13.7 first though, I didn't upgrade to that. I also don't know if iPad OS 14 is dropping today but I don't see it on my iPad yet either.

Those iPads that are shipping today already have OS14. They are going to wait until school & work are over for the day in the eastern US- that will overload the servers for sure. Releasing 1st thing in the morning would have been smarter for a tapered demand.

I work for Apple. The release manager called in sick today and Craig took the rest of the team out to celebrate the releases. Unfortunately no one else is around or sober with the proper role access to make the release.

I wonder if they have a list of the top 100 apps in the App Store and they’re waiting until most of them are compatible / updated for iOS 14 & then they’ll release it.
