When start Messages = computer freezes for ~10 secs

Hopefully closing this out as I can report 10.14.4 has fully resolved the issue based on testing. Really been fixed since 10.14.4 beta 3 and I am going to close out case with Apple. Hopefully a few others can confirm.

Agreed. 10.14.4 did seem to fix it for me.

Confirmed on my end as well. I haven't had the issue since 10.14.4b4 and installed the GM yesterday, still good

For me LOTS of applications freeze for ~10s when launching on 10.14.5.
Even simple things like choosing 'About this Mac' freezes my whole system for 10s (I can move the mouse and the cursor moves, but can't click anywhere).
Also I have lots of trouble with disconnecting Bluetooth mouse (Mighty Mouse 1)
