You do realize that when you get your first 8gb iphone, you'll be signing up for a 2 year contract. So when you try and get the 32gb version, you will be paying full price for it since you'll be in your current contract and not eligible for a subsidized price on the 32gb phone.
How do we know that AT&T won't take care of Iphone 3G users then, like they are for 2G users now by giving them the subsidized price even if they are not currently eligible...granted, if an updated phone comes out in 6 months, they won't be very likely to do so, but it is a possibility.
As for 32gb... i was mad when they only announced the 8 and 16gb, but then i thought about how i am only using a 1gb nano and came back to reality.
