So I'm selling my iPhone 5 now to get the most value (company issued 4S will suffice in the meantime) and going from using iOS7 back to iOS6 on the 4S I have to say I like iOS7 more now....

The UI is so much more minimalist and clean. And the 5 is a vast improvement over even the 4S in my eyes.

I can't wait for the 5S and the public release of iOS7. I think there are some things that will be announced this fall, as far as new iOS7 features, that will be surprises.

I don't mean to be flippant or mean, but I wonder why so many people are so focused on how the dock looks.

'Cause it's ugly. Further, it ruins many a pretty wallpaper by taking on an ugly color. That's frustrating because it's easily fixable.

It just seems like such a minor thing... I'd much rather Apple focus more on adding new features than making the OS look pretty. The split should be 65% focused on features/35% focused on looks.

The aesthetics are minor, of course, but at this late stage of the game, we aren't likely to see any new features. However, it's not too late for Apple to make some much-needed cosmetic improvements.

I really have only two real asks that I know won't be there:

1. Some kind of way to tell how many safari tabs I have opened at any given time without having to click the icon to open the pages opened view.
2. More granular control over iTunes Radio/App updates. I don't want updates OTA without WiFi, but I do want iTunes Radio OTA without WiFi. As it stands now it's one or the other. For that reason alone I am sticking with Pandora and haven't been using iTunes Radio.

You can always go into settings > Cellular and disable app store from using cellular data lol

That and/or faster animations.

Quick reply would be a nice bonus too.

All 3 would be a sensible move and satisfy most IMO.

What are the changes/surprises you most hope to see in the GM?

I would like to see them not waste time on the icons etc which are fine and deliver a stable OS that doesn't respring left and right, use the battery excessively, randomly mute all alerts as if do not disturb is on but it's not, fix the bug that randomly removes the download buttons from 'in the cloud' as well as bring back being able to pick the quality like you could in iOS 5

Also if we have bought something show us in the store that it was bought already. It was like that in iOS 5. And to go with it, if we buy something from our wish list remove it automatically

That would be a great option to have, and make the time the same friggin size as it was in ios6! I swear everyone at Apple must have the best eyesight.

It's perfect as is now. With all the changes from ios 6, it's quite impressive what apple has accomplished in ios 7 with the time they had. Beta 6 has been so stable and smooth for me and one would not even think it's a beta. Sure there can be improvements but you have to save some features for ios 8. They are more concerned in making sure the final release is solid. There might be some minor tweaks in the final release but nothing big at this point. Any major changes will come with new bugs. I'm more excited in seeing third party apps upgrading for ios 7. Sick of seeing old traces of ios 6.

Yeah...they already had the GM all done by WWDC and the whole beta process with multiple updates and all that was just Apple punking us all. Totally.
