So basically I should either way till Summer or buy it as soon as possible.
I'll keep an eye for future leaks and I'll decide :)
Thank you guys!

May/June is somehow not before summer?

Summer starts on June 21st which is in June.

Yes, apple isn't about to change the design so soon after refreshing the line with the rMBP design

If you are able to wait, if March is your upgrade date, wait until the new ones come out in June. If you MUST have an update in March, go to the Apple refurb units. Same machine, same performance, same warranty, and a few bucks less.

There is a story on the updates, by coincidence, on the main page here. As expected, it's sketchy, but may give a slight hint at what is next. Fact is, whether you buy the current line or wait for the new ones, you can't go wrong. Unless you do extreme gaming or a heavy video editing workout, either will have plenty of power for you.

Not sure why everyone is salivating for June ( just to be disappointed ).
For sure it's gonna be later... late September / early October the soonest.

Probably I'll be able to wait till June :)
but the idea of the refurbished ones is not bad at all ;)

Apple missing the back to school rush? Not likely. NVIDIA is expected to release their new cards in March and Intel is expected to release Haswell in May. So mid to late June is more likely. What is coming in between June and August that is worth waiting for?

This machine will hopefully have 802.11ac and LTE. Hard to believe they have LTE on a phone and you can't get it on a computer... heck it is a data connection!!

GPS would be awesome too. I use maps on my Mac all the time

If you get caught in the waiting for the latest update cycle, you'll never have one. Just get one and love it. :)
That's what's happening to me. Affirad an update will come soon after buying a MacBook.

If you're planning on keeping it for 5years then waiting might be a good idea, especially because you'll only have 3 months to wait.

1. There's a decent chance that the next MBP will have 802.11ac and getting the next-gen wifi is probably worth the wait if you don't plan on flipping the new laptop in a year or two.

2. There's also a decent chance that the rMBPs will be significantly cheaper, though this will be counterbalanced by the chance that the cMBP will be discoed.

You will also benefit from lower prices on the 2012 models after the 2013s start shipping if you want a 2012.

Really hope that I wont need to wait until 2014 :(

Strange situation for me. I have had the possibility to choose a mac at my new job since early summer but up unitl this date there is no really good solution for me.

cmbp 13 (bad screen)
rmbp 13 (bad cpu, bad mem, bad graphics)
rmbp15 (too big for me)

Guess I will have too stick to pc for another half or whole year. Sad because I'm really looking forward to try mac.

The rMBP 13" has the same CPU, memory, and graphics as the 13" cMBP. What programs do you run at the office? Are you sure the 13" wouldn't work? Haswell will improve the GPU and battery life, but the CPU improvements will be mostly incremental.

I'm mostly running IntelliJ IDEA, browsing and sending emails. I'm pretty sure that both the 13 rMBP and 13 cMBP will work since my current Asus U36S works for this but you don't only want to have something that works for now if you invest in a new expensive laptop. It should work for the next 5 years. I'm also a bit sceptic towards first generation of new models.

I think you are right regarding Haswell that it will focus on battery life and GPU but I also read that CPU improvements should be at least 10% which I think is OK. And the GPU improvement will also be very interesting if Apple continue to skip discrete graphics card on the 13.

So my guess is that the new retina models will be much more value for money when they launch them (hopefully) during summer 2013.
