No yellow, in between on reception. I can make it go down one or two bars but it doesn't get to the point of no service. I don't hold my phone there anyway so I'm not really concerned about it.

Nah they won't exchange it if it only has 1 dead pixel, think it needs to have at least 5

I wouldn't say that.....if it was me, I would be making sure they replace it. I don't care if it has 1 or 20 dead pixels, it's not right.

...the battery isn't any better than my 3GS was.
Major disappointment in that area.

I think the battery life is the best I've seen on an iPhone since the 2G, mine lost 17% battery in 6 hours and I for the whole of those 6 hours I was listening to podcasts and texting/browsing, now THAT is some amazing battery life right there, 3G and Wi-Fi were both turned on too, this thing reminds me of the iPad, the battery just seems to go on forever
Wow. You must have a good unit then.
My battery life is the same as the 3GS and nothing even REMOTELY close to "iPad like".
Maybe a software update will revive my spirits.
I think just like some of the other issues, it's hit or miss from one phone to the other. Just my opinion though
I suppose so, mine also doesn't have the screen problems or signal problems either so it looks like I got one from the good batch
