When will Apple send me a receipt/shipping number?

I just ordered a refurbished macbook pro about an hour ago. I have yet got an email regarding my receipt or shipping number. How long does it normally take for me to get it? I assumed it was immediately after my purchase.

Dude it can take anywhere from 24 hours to 5 business days, depending on sooo many variables.

Take a chill pill and relax.

Dude. There is no normal. I think it took a few hours for mine, but others may have gotten it much sooner. If you are concerned, call Apple.

You did keep a copy of your order screen, right?

Sometimes it takes a day or two, depending on how many orders there are for refurbs. Just check order status via apple.com

The fastest I've gotten a receipt, was immediately in my email. The longest was about 4-5 hours i believe. As for a shipping number, that should come in the first 24-48 hours, all the way up to a few days, depending how long it said "ships by ______" you'll get the number when they've shipped it 🙂
