If people want to talk and speculate, let them. If you're not interested (and it seems like you don't give a hoot) leave this thread and everyone is happy.

+1

I don't understand why people get so frustrated about this.

People could discuss abortion, Global Climate Change, and Religion all in one thread and they would point to this thread and say, "sheesh, why are you guys so angry?".

I'm yet to be convinced that it won't be tomorrow - the whole rumour of it being July 8th is still from a group that hasn't always got it right. I think it is more likely it'll be next week, but don't rule out tomorrow just yet.

Does make sense though. Didn't Apple close down during the week of the Fourth of July?

It is a Canada day in Canada tomorrow, then it's Independence day on Friday. I think stuff released today is all we're getting.

Which is cool if you're Canadian, but Apple's dev teams are mostly in California so that doesn't really affect their dev teams.

This beta 3 question certainly feels more stable.
**Hahaha -- Award for funniest iOS 8 Beta comment ever!**

Beta 3 can't come quickly enough for me -- I've opened 38 bugs, of which 12 were closed (2 duplicates & 10 resolved). Of the remaining 26 bugs which are open, 6 are for 3rd party apps but 20 are for Apple issues (including a high number of core issues). That's the highest count I've had for a beta seed, including the iOS 6 and 7 betas.

I wouldn't be surprised if they don't release for another week just due to the work at hand. iOS 7 certainly changed the outside of the OS the most, but I think iOS 8 changes the most internally -- Apple's really opened the gates for apps to communicate with areas of the OS that have always been locked down.
