Considering ios15, who is in the right mind upgrading to 16.0 on day 1? If I had a supported device, I would wait until 16.2 at the least. Let the FOMO people be the final beta testers.
I'm updating on day one, but I'm not glued to my phone, so I don't really care one way or another if it donks up.

Of course, I'm also not in my right mind...

Ever since IOS 16 beta was released, I've not been able to download a single photo from my iPhone either with Image Capture or Photos, new or old and downgrading is not an option either without losing data since I no longer have an IOS 15 backup with my current picture library. I filed a bug report, but Apple's response was terse, "Shouldn't install a beta on my iPhone."

I just can’t wait to get my album art back in the BMW. Morons broke it in iOS15 and never bothered to fix it. Ios16 beta on sons phone works miraculously.

Tim Apple: We release it when when it’s functional. We never complete the product and something is always being worked on.

Getting to production doesn’t mean something is production ready.

if i have the RC public beta i can safely delete my beta profile from the phone now?

It's so tempting to get it now. Is it safe to download the beta now?
been using the beta since the first public one and it has been running fine from day one. far better than the iOS 15 betas.

at this point you might as well just wait for the official release but if you really can't wait then join the beta and download the RC.

Yes, you have the public release already unless the rare update to it happens. And you'll get that Monday with the rest of the public anyway. No need to keep the beta profile.

Unless you want to remain on the beta train for future versions like 16.1

I think I'll wait until iPadOS 16 and Ventura are out. There is nothing I really care about with this release.

I'm a pretty avid runner, so I am interested in trying out the new WatchOS updates.

When would it be a good time to remove the beta profile? I've installed the RC but unsure whether there's going to be another build on Monday/whatever

Edit: ignore this, just scrolled up and saw somebody else asking the same question.

Hoping for a few more updates to iOS 15 to resolve outstanding issues.
Not planing to install iOS 16 until August of 2023.

That reminds me of an old Homer Simpson episode where he kept getting himself hurt with a lit candle fire repeatedly, seemingly not learning that the action was causing pain. 😂
Apparently I haven't learned my lesson 🤣
