When Will iOS 16 Be Released? [Update: Rolling Out Now]

It's so tempting to get it now. Is it safe to download the beta now?

I started from the version before the release candidate and it's been fine. Might be best to wait at least for release day if you're cautious.

I am on public beta, we get the public release about 1 week before Apple releases the hounds.

I tried it due to an audio problem with my wife's phone. Man oh man have the amount of app failures increased! And it didn't fix the audio problem, so it's HW related.

Oh, and I followed instructions to roll back to iOS 15, but no go on two different phones. This is my first iPhone, I will never test the public beta again. Hate losing control that I had with Android.

Showed up for me in Canada, but I'm on the public beta, not sure if that means we get the whole thing or not?

I’ll just wait to get my 14PM this Friday as well, instead of upgrading iOS on my 12PM. New phone + new iOS will make the experience even better!

just be aware that you probably cant migrate your old phone (transfer data and settings) when running different versions

Same here 2 hours remaning

It showed 5 minutes here in Atlanta, but ended up taking about 10 to actually download. Currently at the "Preparing Update..." stage. I think the extra time for the UK is because they had to add all the extra "U"s to the words and it makes the download size larger.

I will install it, not because of the FOMO vibe, just for the hopes of fixing a lot of weird stuff my phone has been doing lately. Maybe a revamp of a new structure will fix my UX. If not, well a reset to factory will do.
