Yea, I wish I could use my iPhone 5 on iOS 5 with a jailbreak.

I guess the Ipod touch 5 generation will be like the Iphone 5, as they can't use IOS 5. Only time will tell when a jailbreak will be released for IOS 6.

The jailbreak team are excellent, they really bring out the best of the Iphone, Ipad and Ipod touch.

One thing, when a official untethered jailbreak gets released is it good to get it?

When lets say apple release a new firmware and a new untethered jailbreak gets released like for a new 6.x.x is it wise to upgrade to the new firmware?

Always stay on the last untethered jailbreakable iOS version, for now 5.1.1

Once a new jailbreak is released for the newest iOs you can go to the new firmware and jailbreak and than stay there until the next upgrade an jailbreak cycle, it's cat and mouse.

He got it from his nether region.

I see the mods were kind enough to remove the gif from my previous post. :D

He cannot for a few years due to agreements he signed with Apple.
Similar to No compete clause type stuff.

I am not sure how "jailbreaking" would be considered part of a non compete clause. Since it is not an official job. I can see Apple trying to prosecute him for helping a jailbreak out. But i would think that would be that would be thrown out, since jailbreaking is not considered illegal. Unless there is something "specific" that he signed that said he would not jailbreak if he left Apple.

Try reading dhlizard's post again. There were two, separate sentences. In neither of them was jailbreaking mentioned as being part of a non compete agreement. Dhlizard should know, comex is out of the jb picture for a few years. And what might be a novel concept to some, perhaps comex believes in honoring agreements he signs.

I don't see why people are freaking out about the comex contract thing. If he REALLY wanted to, he could work towards developing a jailbreak, and give the work to someone respected in the jb community like chpwn to publish it, thereby still honoring the terms of his contract.
