OCD will do that to you
this isn't OCD. This is BS complaining about a logo being on a case that covers a phone with a logo on it. There's a word for it but OCD isn't it.

Agreed, I never buy a case or bumper that has a logo on it.

Really? So you basically limit yourself to Chinese knockoffs? Because I know of very few (none) cases that do not have some kind of logo somewhere.

There was some dude on here long ago spamming his cases. Zoocrap or whatever. Those are the worst cases ever with giant logos. I don't mind a logo, I mind when it is intentionally distracting from the design.

Actually many of the most expensive and highest quality iPhone cases do not have any logos.

Power Support makes what is probably the nicest iPhone 5 case:

It doesn't have a single logo on it.

I paid $80 for one of these when they first came out, shipped directly from Japan. It was worth every penny.

There's also the aluframe silver bumper:

Products are better without stupid logos. Compare the black version with the silver version of the aluframe:

There's also the aluframe bumper (yes it has faint logos, but it would be better without them)

Products are better without stupid logos. Imagine if every screen protector game with huge lettering on it with the manufactuer's name.

Eww. Look at that disgusting logo on the last picture! By the way... that's not a case. That's a bumper.

I don't mind the Otterbox logo on my case at all, personally. I have also used "Acase" brand cases, in black. They have a very minimal logo as well.

Just can't get away from advertising these days unless you make something yourself, OP. You may as well either get to work or get over it.

Reminds me of the movie Idiocracy with the ads everywhere. That Mike Judge sure knew some things huh...

EDIT- I LIKE HOW YOU EDITED YOUR POST THERE BIG GUY...

Bumpers are still cases

Then why do they call them bumpers and not cases?

Either way, the last photo from his pre-edited post clearly showed an iPhone with a big gaudy logo showing on the back.

OP needs to get over it. Buy a case with a minimalistic logo/cover it up/make his own/whatever.

Until humanity unites together and gets rid of corporations altogether and the current business model, ads are here to stay.

Living in the middle of the woods away from society would be a good place to start, though. All the ads kind of make me want to do that to be honest. I hate what the world has become sometimes. Blah.

I'd suggest "OCD" is a relative concept. So in a brand-saturated culture, the reflexive dismissal of anyone preferring unbranded could be seen as a form of OCD in itself.

And it's not like everyone in the world needs or even wants brands. Certainly not the tasteless, in-your-face branding that even "luxury" goods manufacturers cynically exploit to hook to their increasingly indiscriminate customers.

Brand-free can be beautiful and, dare I say it, liberating. Muji, for example, have done quite well with it.

Anal retentive

Thank You!! It's annoying when people throw the term "OCD" around and use it incorrectly. It diminishes the value of a very real mental disorder that has ruined the way of life for patients with it and the people close to them.

Those are bumpers. I said case. /shrug
But really, if there is a logo on something then do not buy it. You'll save yourself tons of money. Apple's logo, btw, is that Apple on the back of your phone. ;)

I think that logo is wayyy too big and way too prominent. Of course it can be fixed with a case. :)

But what I really don't understand are cases with ugly circular cutouts to deliberately show-off the overblown logo. Crassly compromising functionality and simplicity for what? Ostentation? Ugh:

In full agreement. No case has pleased me when it has a cutout for the apple logo. I'm simply not that pretentious.

Never was a big deal to me. I actually kind of like some logos if they're placed well and the color goes with the design. It adds a bit of an accent to the design if done fine. Meh. Bit of a dramatic thread title.
