When will the next 15" non-glossy be released/Pro vs Macbook advice?

The lack of a non-glossy screen on the uMBP 15" remains a deal breaker for me. I currently have a previous-gen, penryn 2.5 MBP 15", with matte screen, and dodgy 8600M graphics chip.
I plan to run my old MBP into the ground, and if apple still haven't come to their senses and released a matte option for the uMBP 15, then I shall be jumping ship, to a matte screen, PC laptop running Linux (probably Ubuntu).
I have seen several uMBP and am not impressed by the highly reflective nature of the screen. For me, this is unusable. I am also very concerned by the reports that the uMBP can irritate/cut/rub raw people's wrists. Not good apple.

The only people with wrist issues are those with horrible typing posture. If you don't find your wrists pressing against your current laptop then it won't be an issue for you.
