This will be my first Product Red, I hope it's a dark deep red. And yeah I will probably put it in a Product Red leather apple case.
I struggled with red vs black! In the end I am going black so the phone appears more seamless. I think your red combo is awesome, the youtube videos make it look pretty dark.

been An Apple user since 2007, two years a ditched the MacBook for being overpriced and went with pc and best move I made. constantly unreliable. They have lost their way, all Apple has that is even worth a second look is iMessage now, even huawei have no passed them in innovation, just a shame the software is not yet as good. I doubt I will buy any iPhone again until they find their way again.

But I was moving up from a 6s. That was one of the reasons I went for the Xs rather than Xr. I’ve small hands and the Xs is pretty much the same size of the 6s but with way more screen. The Xr is actually a tad bigger. It mattered enough to me to pay the extra $$ for the “s.”I have to say, I’m LOVING the Xs. It’s not a “Wow” phone, like the first iPhone, but it is an Apple phone in that it “just works.” Fast and smooth in operation, the most beautiful photos I’ve ever taken, and Face ID.
I love, love, LOVE Face ID! For whatever reason, fingerprint never worked for me without issues. It’d be fine for a while, then completely stop working. I’d have to re-enter fingerprints, which would work for a while, then completely stop working. Rinse and repeat. Most times I was entering the password. No more! As Apple might hyperbole, Face ID is like “magic.” I lift the phone, and it unlocks, ready to go. I use apps and websites with no fingerprint or password required, just a glance at the phone. And I love that my reminders don’t appear on the lock screen till I look at it. For Face ID alone, I’m glad I got it.
When ever I show my phone to the curious, they’re impressed. Which makes me think the Xr will do well. For all intents and purposes it’s the Xs at a better price.
You are certainly allowed your opinion. I’m not sure if this particular discussion thread is the appropriate place for it though. That’s my thought.
On another note, I can’t wait to order my XR tonight.
I'm surprised the website hasn't gone down for the pre-orders yet.

For all those who pre-order, hopefully you guys won't experience shipping delays some have experienced with the XS.
Those issues should already have been resolved after a month delay.
It's not yet clear if supplies of the iPhone XR will be constrained, but there have been rumors of production issues that led to a launch delay, so it's best to pre-order the iPhone XR as soon as possible if you're aiming to get a new device on release day.

Maybe, maybe not. There are no pre-orders for SIM-free devices tonight, which has historically been linked to lower supply.
I hope you are right. I looked at pre-order for XS and XR back in early September and only XS showed Sim-free. I am getting a gut feeling Apple may not offer Sim-free for XR and may force one to buy XS, though I hope I am wrong. We will see later this year if it will be available.

On some TV’s maybe. Not the case with the iPhone X/Xs though, as they have the pixel shift technology implemented to avoid it.

Your dreaming. XS sales are dismal. XS Max sales are good. XR does not compete with the XS/XS Max. By Q4 XR sales will be at least 55% of total unit sales for all models combined. Bank on it.
It'll be my first black iPhone. It's kinda matte black too so it looks great with the glossy black bezel

I mean, is there any real difference between a sim-free device and an unlocked phone that comes with a carrier sim (which they are doing)?
No difference except they charge you a $30 upgrade fee. Verizon and AT&T for sure, I don’t think T-Mobile does! Is anyone still using Sprint?
