Where are my "waiting at home" people at?

My 32 gig is out for delivery as of 90 minutes ago. A FedEx truck pulled up and I went out to get the box. I thought it was kind of large. It was my wife's delivery of bird seed! I had to laugh as I took the box from the FedEx guy. So, I'm back to waiting. :D
 
Waiting on the sidewalk so when the UPS guy comes down the driveway i'll clap and cheer for him.

I got my phone yesterday at 11:00 am. FedEx Tracking showed it being at the airport, and then it didn't show it being delivered until well after 5:30 pm.

LOL!! I hope you're right. I called Apple, who called Fed Ex, who said that my phone is still waiting on customs clearance... so even though I never went backordered or had a problem with my account, and I ordered on June 15th, I'm not getting it until Monday (if Fed Ex is to be believed). If they are reading out of the same out of date/out of synch system, maybe they are wrong, but I'm not feelin' great about it at this point.:( I have not posted in the complaints threads 'til now but damn it feels good to vent a little.
 
Mine is out for delivery as of 8:22 a.m. ... FedEx doesn't usually get here till mid-afternoon, though. *Sigh*

Right now, I've put on a "Thomas the Train" DVD for the kids so I can pore over MR and commiserate with everyone else who's waiting, lol!
 
ugh mine was on the truck at 6am and has been out for delivery ever since... this is killing me!!!

Same here! Every time the dog barks, I get all excited thinking it's the Fed Ex truck ... and it's just a person walking by. Or nothing whatsoever!
 
Mine was out for delivery at 5:52 am, it's now 10:21, still waiting... I have to be at work at 1, but luckily there will be another person at home to accept delivery. :)
 
The driver has to be buzzed into my building. It makes a doorbell sound on my iPhone 3GS. So my battery is fully charged and I'm keeping it near me all day.

Meanwhile, I'll spend the longest day watching the continuation of the longest tennis match in Wimbledon history.

tracked all day yesterday hoping for miracle as the FedEx site has said delivery on the 24th...

and just like rest of ya..more I read..more I dread...we have two 32gb coming...not cool
 
Waiting here at home for the Fedex truck. Tracking says out for delivery by 3 pm today. I wish ATT had a pre-sign form just like Apple so I dont have to sit and wait here at home!
 
Just got it!!!

(Confession: I am a bad mom, because I canceled my son's playdate with another little boy to wait for my phone, even though I thought it wouldn't get here till this afternoon. But now I'm glad I did, because I wouldn't have been home otherwise!)

haha that's priceless. Does your son mind? Maybe he'll get to play with the older phone more now.

I REALLY wish mine were here now. Oh Fedex truck, wherefore art thou?
 
Fedex express just came by and I was too busy brushing my teeth but he didn't come to my door.......or at least I don't think.

Some kids were in the front so I really hope the fedex guy didn't leave it in the front door to have it stolen.

My other iPhone 4 came yesterday at around 3 pm and I didn't have to sign for it.....so, who knows.

Well, he's only 3, so I don't think he really understood that we had something scheduled, and now we don't. But he's just as happy to stay home and play with his little brother :)

Sadly (for him), I'm selling the old phone, so no, he doesn't get to play with it! I wish I had the dough for him to have his own iPhone, but that does seem a bit over the top for a toddler, lol!
 
Mine's here as well. Just bleeding awesome. Beautiful display, no yellow splotches or network issues! Couldn't be more excited.
 
Well....I got mine.
However...I heard the doorbell ring and got up all happy and stuff to open the door. When I got there it was UPS and not FedEx. They were dropping off a package for my wife. Then I look down...and there in the middle of my porch (not off to the side, not behind the huge planter specifically bought to hide packages that come when we're not home) was my FedEx box. There was no knock, no doorbell ring before the UPS guy showed up. I stepped out as UPS was driving off and there was no sign of FedEx anywhere.

Me thinks they be slacking.

In any case, I got my new toy and it's activating now.
I am no longer waiting for it to show...pray that it works.


EDIT:
FedEx tracking says that the phone was delivered at 11:30AM...I answered the door for UPS at about 1:00PM.
Now I'm a little more upset than before.
