That's different than software support. If it still worked, you'd be able to run Sierra and High Sierra when it's released. Sucks that the hardware let you down, but 5+ years is still better than just about any warranty you'd be getting from ANY manufacturer.I paid $350 for my Tab Pro 12.2 . I am still waiting for an Android upgrade, but at least I still get updates.

My MBP 2011 was "repaired" twice and when I had the battery replaced in December, I asked to check the GPU. In January it failed and Apple said I was SOL because they had no more parts left.
