I'm taking all these pictures with a grain of salt. The Siri remote feels pretty sturdy to me. The fact the glass has a smaller surface area means it should be sturdier. Also, it's lighter so there is less mass falling behind the glass.

I'm not saying all the pictures so far are staged or fake, but I do bet some non-zero percent of them are staged to get clicks/hits/views/etc.

But I feel ridiculous buying something like that

I bought it. It's ok for gaming with the remote. Outside of that it's pretty useless.

Leave it to Apple to make a remote that needs a protective case. More $ that needn't be spent. There has got to be better materials from which to make the remote and iPhone/iPad screens.

But hey! Why use a semi-indestructible material when you can use something that'll break and reap the additional profit? smh😵
