Where is Cinder?

I think I see this product on Amazon. Eclipse by cupert. Is this "cinder"? And of COURSE. it doesn't ship to Canada. Smfh.

I never said it was bad quality or anything. It was just the only review I saw quickly on IGG. Most people are only saying it arrived here and there in the US.

But what I found really interesting on the IGG page is this comment:



I wonder if they will ever address this. They cannot refer to the 3 batches, as the third batch isn't shipped yet (doesn't even have shipping numbers yet - afaik). And the US SP were not shipped on 2nd of Sept.

It is a wonder that they don't have someone on this thread(possibly paid) to make excuses for them.

I'm a guy from Germany and one of the backers. I don't receive my Cinder Glass Screen Protector yet. Cupert can't tell me when I get my Cinder. For my bew iPhone 6s (4,7") I want to order it from Amazon.com.

But there is no Chance for placing an order "This item does not ship to Wächtersbach, Germany. Please check other sellers who may ship internationally. Learn more". No international shipping.

Are here some other backers from Europe without a tracking number ? Someone here from Europe which received his Cinder Glass Screen Protector ?

What should i make ? I want to place an order urgently to get the Chance for delivery next week.

You do know they they kept telling people on twitter and facebook that it would ship globally right?

I think it's still going through Amazon's system because the shipping estimate is delayed because it says it's got to process. That's what the other protector said and it went away after a few hours and reverted back to normal, so it might work in a few hours once the Prime benefits are fully functioning. *shrug*
 
This is what Cupert telling on Facebook "#‎CINDER‬ launches on Amazon US next week.
We hope to go live before the 24th September.

LIMITED amount only for the first batch, so be ready!

Global shipping will be possible.

And now I'm wondering why international shipping is not available.

What I don't get is why they didn't make the 6 Plus version available. Now theyre saying a few more days for the 6 Plus model.
 
And this is my nightmare. International shipping is available and all Cinders went away.

I can't believe they continue to post and update and completely ignore questions about why the 6 plus model isn't available yet. I don't know if they think business is a joke but this isn't a good way to do it.
 
According to my Amazon, the Eclipse flat protector (thanks @mgerla) is available for immediate delivery.

Haha! If that were the case, Cinder is sure not helping it's cause with the continued shipping and communication issues folks are reporting. Conspiracy theories aside, you're too much my man. ;)
 
Just happened to wake up and check Amazon @3:30 am est. and saw they had 15 units of the black Cinder in stock left. Since Im waiting on the plus I didn't buy but by the time I had to get up for work 3 hrs later, black was sold out and white had limited supply left. These things went quick.
 
I installed mine last night. After all the BS the customer service put us through, I gotta say... It was worth it!
This IS the perfect screen protector. These guys are going to sell a million of these as long as they can keep knockoff competitors away.

Just a note. You have to carefully peel the protector off the plastic "back plate" the place it on to protect it during packaging.

The curved protector sits on this plastic form fitting card and the pull tab is not really strong enough to separate the two.

I used my fingernail to pry (CAREFULLY) the protector up a little bit and was able to get the protector off the plastic card.

Just a heads up for when you receive your cinder.

They should have done a better job with that. I can see why an earlier poster broke their Cinder during this process.

How much was it on Amazon? How much was shipping without prime?

In case anybody else is still wondering: No Cinder for outside of US backers has been shipped yet, and so far nobody's tracking works.

Does that mean, that instead of peeling of the back plate, you peel of the protector?
 
I got the answer from Cupert that the tracking number should work. I can only say "It doesn't work". I'm from Germany. I refreshed the Amazon page again and again but no international shipping. Now it's sold out. I really pissed off. No Cinder for an early backer no chance to buy one from Amazon.com.

The one I bought as a backer is for my iPhone 6 (4,7") black. This one will get my wife on friday. On this day I will hold my new iPhone 6s in my Hands. And therefor I want to buy an other Cinder for the 6s (4,7") white.

I hope that Cupert delivers more Cinder to Amazon so fast as they can.
