Where is Cinder?

Exactly this. If they had been more vocal and a at least a little apologetic, I believe most of the backers would have been able to handle the delay.

That being said, I received two today and they arrived broken. These had a different tracking number so I suppose they were from the shipment that 'went missing'. Guess my wait continues.

I'm suddenly starting to regret placing my order...
 
So my Cinder order I cancelled and got refunded arrived today. I did get hit by customs so basically got a Cinder screen shield for £13... can't complain!
 
I ordered a black cinder for the 6s the 24th. They had it in stock.
But it took them 4 days to finally ship it and the dhl tracking nr. They send last friday doesn' t work.
I hope they are not up to their old tricks again.
 
To those with the screen protector, how long after applying it did you wait until trying the case? Mine arrived last night and was put on immediately. Afraid to try my case only for the adhesive to not hold.

Do you hav an iPhone 6 or 6s? New or old Cinder?

I guess 24-48h should be more than enough.
 
Jesus I haven't looked at this thread for ages but it looks like they are still the liars and bull******** that I said they were when they first arrived on the scene with their false photos of how their protector was different to some others.

Can’t tell if it’s the old one of the new one, but since I placed the order for it last month, I’m guessing it’s the new one. 6s.

Upper right corner doesn’t adhere properly. With no case there’s a tiny bubble on screen. Using an iphone Silicon case it disappears, as if the case is holding the protector in place. Can’t say I’m too happy with that, but it’s not bothering me yet, so we’ll see how it goes. Looks fantastic too.

I agree - I think you and I were the only ones that saw through their underhanded tactics right in the beginning.

I ordered my Cinder for my iPhone 6s on November 14. I received it on 12/3 (I live in Missouri). And I have to admit. It's the absolute best tempered glass screen protector I have ever used. And I tried many different ones, including imos v2, Spigen, Zagg Glass, Peel Glass and the PowerSupport Schott glass.

My preference in order:
1. Cinder
2. Imos v2
3. Peel Glass
4. Power Support Schott Glass
5. Zagg Glass

Not sure how long you had the imos V2 on your phone but between imos and Cinder, which has a better oleophobic coating? My imos is very smooth.
 
As far as oleophobic coating I would say they are both the same. The only difference between Cinder and imos v2 was the thickness. My imos was thicker than the Cinder.
 
Nice to see, that they ship to new customers while their backers are still waiting.
They wanted to ship from the US now, same game, ...next week, next week, tomorrow... last friday... nothing so far.

I still didn't get my cinder, And i asked for refund again, they said my item is delivered so that they can't refund me.
but my last tracking number that gave me show that it is undelivered and got lost. I dunno what the hell this company is ....
 
Damn, was thinking about buying from this company, but I think I'll stick with MIME and try out their Air glass.
 
Did anyone get a cinder in the last few days? How are they now? Still issues with sticking to the iPhone? Any halo' s on a 6s(not plus)
Got my black one a few days ago, but can' t test it. I got the white iPhone 6s instead.
If anyone is interested in a not used black one for the 6(s) still in package, pm.
 
I got a replacement in a couple of days ago..nothing has changed..i just threw it into the trash after same as before issue of not sticking to the screen
 
I finally got rid of my Cinder and applied the ice max. Looks the same, except this one sticks on perfectly, even in the trouble corner (top-right) for the Cinder.
 
Well, based on the posts...I just ordered an IceMax over a Cinder. Aliexpress said it would ship from the US with a seven day delivery...so we'll see.

I currently have a Bodyguardz Pure with Crown installed, but the crown sucks. If I try to go without my Apple Leather Case, the crown just doesn't stay stuck down and Bodyguardz doesn't sell just the crown. I'd have to pay a $16.95 replacement fee for the whole thing. So...ill try the IceMax.

Excited to see if the 3D glass works...
 
A little over a month later with this screen protector and it's still on my phone. I have it on with a Play Proof case and it works fine! Even took the screen protector off to wash some dust off that was annoying me from my last install and went on without issues. Can post pictures later, if interested.

You actually washed it??

How did you dry it while preventing more dust from attracting to it?
