I was wondering if it was on the iPad Mini...so if it is, then it definitely sounds like it will be released this week prior to the official iPad Mini release (on Fri.).

Well, given the timing, it doesn't seem that today is the day.
I guess there's tomorrow (and possibly Friday, although that's much less likely). Sounds like a November release in any case (and possibly a late November one, perhaps to coincide with the new version of iTunes that got delayed).

i dont think they would need to delay a 6.0.1 release because its not gonna fix every single issue with 6.0. we will see a few 6.x builds to fix everything. its impossible to fix everything in one 6.x release, there would had to be months of testing and fixes implemented and that is more of a 6.1 release then.
I am on schedule to receive my mini Friday, so I will let you know if it comes with 6.01.

I think it's out. I was just restoring my phone and got an error message. I tried again and it said an update was available. I clicked okay too fast though and I swear it said 6.0.1.
