I couldn't find the detailed price by model, color, photo of iwatch 7? and no head-to-head benchmark table 7 vs. 6 vs. 4?

Thanks!

Which is baffling as to why. Sure think folks would want some time to sort out what they really want before ordering goes live.
I’m sure you’ll get time ….. I’d be surprised if pricing and models etc is not up in the next 24 hours. Reality is we have all the time in the world ….. nobody forces us to order on launch day (although I generally do :) )

From what I read this morning, internals of the news release show this was meant to drop tomorrow. My guess is Apple rushed to get it out this morning after getting wind of the Hermes leak. I imagine we'll have more pricing info very soon.

This is an example of Apple taking its customers for granted. 'Let's not even update with combos and pricing and give people the opportunity to make an informed decision because the plebs will pre order anyway.'
Even if the Series 7 is a Plan-B model (something borked this launch), there's no excuse for the lack of info on the site.

Or perhaps there is a legitimate reason the comparison and pricing isn’t quite there yet ! ….. rather than some conspiracy theory ;)

even so... isnt this just ridiculous?

Pre order is 3 days away and they haven't released specs, comparisons, and price structure for the new watch.

Normally, you'd be able to go through and choose one and favourite it at the very least ready for pre-order.

I assume this will indeed be the case too but how close to Friday are they leaving it??

I can understand people saying it will be up in a few hours.. but its been over a day now and still no info from which to make a decision.

Personally …. I don’t find it ridiculous …. First world problem …. Frustrating for some yes …. But IMHO not the big conspiracy that some might see it as

Did I say it was a conspiracy? No.

That in itself is ridiculous. To what end is this a conspiracy??

Its just Apple not releasing pricing and specs for a device that is open to pre orders in 3 days time.

They will... but naturally some people need a bit of time to read through and decide which model is right for them before the pre-orders open.

No you didn’t … it’s just a general discussion not necessarily aimed at you ! much has been discussed around the Apple Plan B conspiracy theory etc ….. the reality is you have all the time in the world to consider what to buy if you can’t make up your mind in 2 or 3 days you have all the time in the world to order …. There’s no pressure to order on day one..

I too was hoping for the data to be provided by now, so I could look it over and decide if and what. I'd like to create a Favorite if I see something I like.

Their website is strange in that it seems they have to take it down to add stuff. So it has to be scheduled. But I agree that they usually have it set up by now for a preorder on Friday. I want to see what the band choices are.

I am going to try and hold firm and say that I will only upgrade with a trade in promotion. I still have 2 series 4 stainless that I use now. I ordered a Series 5 Ceramic and returned and a series 6 titanium and returned.

I can justify upgrading phones every year but it will be tough for always on display and 1mm. Phones of course have a higher resale value

So ….. as you returned a S5 and S6 …… what exactly is it that your are looking for to upgrade ?

S5 had some of the original battery drain issues. S6 just didn’t have enough differences from the S4 (S5 was also in this category)

I doubt I will be happy with the 7 either

It’s interesting that you even bought them ….. good luck finding what you want ;)

I imagine we’ll be seeing the updated site on Wed.
keep imagining :)

still no sign.

Heres a thought. Maybe stock is so insanely constrained that they dont want to give anyone a head start this year before pre orders and dont even want you to set a favourite in the app to enable a streamlined purchase.

haha just trying to speak it into existence.

you might be on to something. though could also be because of the Steve Jobs tribute.. or that they don’t want to have to update the store twice in such a short period.

i just really want know if they’ll be selling the default configs (to get a launch day delivery).

Must admit, this is a unique experience to be sure.

I can’t remember ever before when a pre-order has been announced and yet the product page, pricing, and specs are still not available.

pre orders start tomorrow but I’ve still no idea what I’m choosing.

Yesterday I contacted Apple online by phone and by chat and two different representatives (and I know that a lot of times they don’t know what they’re talking about) but each said that Apple was not going to be updating the website with the different configurations until the pre-order is live on Friday morning. And that we would not be able to know or configure the various models until it goes on sale for pre-order. And clearly since today’s Thursday and they still haven’t updated the website it looks like that this statement from the reps is true.

If true this is ridiculous because it adds to the stress of the pre-order process and also clogs up the system as each person stays on line that much longer trying to decide and order exactly what they want.

Why is it so difficult for Apple to implement a system whereby we can browse and store a favourite configuration in readiness for orders going live?

It’s not difficult for them. It would be the easiest thing for them to do. They just don’t want to… for whatever reason…
