My A1707 has flex cable issues. I really need to replace it but can't find a reliable place where I can be sure the replacement screen they're selling is all Apple original. Still I need it to cost as little as possible. Any recommendation?

That's odd, they usually have several parts in stock, even if 3rd party and not OEM.
You are correct. I just did a check for the '16 MBP and there are not display flex cables. I see stuff for the touch bar, antennas and other devices, but nothing for the display.
