Second, what do you consider "faulty"? If the color hues are slightly different, is that considered "faulty"?
What makes you think that an independent repair shop can't repair your vehicle correctly?

And OP, I believe you are having crow for dinner. The article linked to shows that you are, as pointed out numerous times, wrong in your repair belief. It is good for you and others, that Apple has made a new display warranty policy.
