Duff-Man says...Luzern Switzerland - I just feel really good there, a great place to spend time in the summer. Den Haag as well. But really, I am quite happy with both Victoria and Albuquerque at the moment (though it'll be all Albuquerque eventually - having 2 homes sometimes feels like I don't even have one)....oh yeah!

I actually like it quite a bit here in Connecticut. Quiet yet pretty, and that New England Charm. New York City is a pretty awesome place, I lived there until I was 5 so I guess that can't count.

I don't think I would like the west coast life style.

Would love to go back to Arkansas again, and I might live there when I graduate collage.

However, besides there:
1.NYC- Took a trip there this summer. Definitely not the cleanest city ever (to iToaster: I don't know if you've been to NYC or not, so excuse me if you have a different opinion, but the subways are not a place to be if you dislike uncleanliness.) But it would be pretty nice to take a year or so to actually get to see the city and not just manhattan.

2. Corpus Christi, Texas - My family goes there every year for the beach, and I do like the city a lot. I plan to go to collage there, and decide weather to stay and live there, or go to Arkansas after graduation.

Providence has it good points, but I need to move north. I need more snow, and preferably cooler/less humid summers. I think somewhere in the Laurentians (north of Montréal), the White Mountains (NH), or perhaps somewhere in the lower Alps (any country works I guess) would be perfect for me.

Anywhere but the town i live in NY... maybe europe... i liked london and Rome when i went. Sydney would be cool put to far from the 'rents

I think I would pick arizona if it had to be in the US. Outside the US I would love to live in Australia!

You are absolutely nuts.

I'd do anything to get OUT of Arizona.

But still, where would you want to live here? Phoenix, Tucson, Flagstaff?

I guess I should really update mine, since Montréal isn't the only place I'd like to live. In no particular order:

1. Stockholm
2. Amsterdam
3. Paris
4. Montréal

Work in New York City.

Live in either the Aland Islands of Finland or Stockholm in Sweden.

If you could live anywhere in the world except where you are from where would it be?

Forget how expensive a country is, remove all factors and just pick a city were you think is the best place for you to live in.

San francisco, i dont know why but San francisco seems like a clean, friendly city to me.

I was wondering the same thing in an old thread.
Fake EDIT: reading my old thread, I miss iGary :(

I guess its still the same for me, the Amalfi coast in Italy. But... I've read good things about Charlottesville, Va and it sounds great. Cape Cod is another place I would love to live.
I still have the same problem as always though - my family is here in NJ and home is with my family :)

BTW, this website (http://findyourspot.com) is really neat! You enter your interests and you get in return a list of places that match.

Scotland or Ireland. Always loved those areas but have yet to travel there.

Or if I had to stay in the US after I graduate, somewhere where it's warm all year round so I can ride my scooter everyday :D ;)

I wouldn't live in a city that's for sure :p

I like large metropolitan areas...something about isolated villages scares the hell out of me.

I like both and in Europe you can have both. I live in the center of Munich but work in a small town with about 4000 people and a view of the Alps!

Best of both worlds! The problem with living in a small town is that there's nothing there and you really need a car to go grocery shopping etc. But I think it's beautiful and I'd love to have maybe a weekend home or something in the country. I'll try to take pictures next week of the town and the Alps.

I'd love to live on Skye (or pretty much any of the outer islands of Scotland, although the Orkneys might be just a wee bit remote), especially since Talisker and I get along VERY well.:p

If I couldn't live there, Nova Scotia would be nice.

1) Co. Kerry, Ireland - perhaps the most culturally removed part of the western world, yet you can buy anything that's on sale in the UK and the Irish economy is booming.
2) Mont Albert Road, Mont Albert, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia - it's the golden mile of melbourne real estate, and for a reason...surrounded by trees and within 20 minutes of the city centre, yet it's not on the way to anywhere, so no passing through traffic despite easy access from all directions
3) A whole island in the pacific, yet within 15 minutes boat ride of a town which is an hour from and airport- the way life's meant to be:cool:
