This one... :)

But I ended up with a TRS-80 as it was cheaper. But I did go to the local computer store to use the Apple!

I finally got a Mac when the "low cost" ones came out:

Well, I would have to say that it was the think different adds, although my parents refused to get a mac back then, that's the add that made me want one and continue to nag my parents until I got my iMac.

Osx

I will honestly tell you getting my hands on OSX was the turning point for me. In Hight school I had this teacher who swore by macs because they had a program called "geometry notebook" or something to that effect. She had about 30 Macintosh Classics. Whenever the school would try and get rid of them from other classrooms she would yell at the janitors and they would put them in her room. I hated these computer for the longest time. When my video production lab however bought about 10 iMac G4s with OSX on them I started to be brought into the Mac world. Then I got into iMovie and I fell in love and I haven't gone back.

I was an Apple user before I was even aware. I piddled around in Windoze until I bought a clamshell in high school, and before I graduated my mom showed me a photo of me, as a 2 year old, banging on the keys of my dad's Lisa. That was pretty cool.
