I live in the Sacramento area, so I'll probably get mine at the Apple Store in the Arden Fair Mall. What does Applecare cost for an IPhone, and do you think it's worth it?

If I'm off work, I will be going to one of the Apple Stores in metro Atlanta since I'm willing to wait in line about 5-6 hours. I'm assuming that the Apple Stores will have more iPhones than your average AT&T Store and all of the ones near me are in a mall which means there are restrooms and a food court within walking distance. If you have to pay the ETF will you be able to do so at the Apple Store?

Apple Store Penn Square in Oklahoma City.
I'll probably get there mid-afternoon (assuming a 6 o'clock sale time) to ensure that I get it. It's about 45 minutes away, and there are a dozen ATT stores on the way, but I still have a $50 Apple gift card.

I'll more than likely go to the Apple Store inside of the Orland Park mall if they decide to release them after 6PM, but if it's available 1st thing that morning I'll be at the AT&T store by my job.

Looks like I'll be on company business in Bernardsville, NJ on the 11th. :(

I hope I can pick one up on the way home, but that probably won't be 'til around 7 - 8 PM. Do you have think I have a good shot in getting one that late in the day?

Honestly I don't think you will have any issues. Just hit up an Apple store. I'm just speculating that it won't be as bad as some are making it out to be.

Eastern MA

I'll try the Burlington, MA Apple store first. If it looks nightmarish then I'll come back first thing Saturday morning. (Who am I kidding, I'll probably just wait in line, as long as they are reassuring about having enough phones...)

I am going to the Apple Store in Danbury CT. Not sure how early yet but I expect to be in line for a good part of the day.

Im going to the Danbury CT, store as well. I wonder where and when they will have the line forming... however last year when I bought the phone I walked into the Westchester mall and no lines and plenty of stock.

Also I called my homeowners insurance company (state Farm) which I have a small policy on my V1 Iphone, to see if the cost will be the same for the 3G Iphone and the price is still the same even though the phone is cheaper.. they anticipate a full price replacement fee. I pay $30 a year for my Iphone policy covers everything

I can't decide!

I miss the Apple store in Fashion Valley in San Diego. I just moved to Denver. There is a nice AT&T store downtown, and I've been there, they're super nice, but it's so small. There's the Apple store in the Cherry Creek mall, but I'm still getting used to indoor malls and I find them weird and depressing. I'm tempted to drive up to Boulder. If I may be waiting in line, I'd rather be outside in the sunshine.

Apple Store in Carousel Mall for me

Last year on iDay, they opened at 6:00 pm like most other stores. I showed up around 7:30 pm, walked right in and got my phone.

Can't decide if I should go to the only apple store in Kansas City or just hit up one of the att stores. The Apple store will attract all the attention but I wonder if the att stores will be that bad.

More than likely the Apple Store on Knox St. in Dallas, TX because I have a lot of apple giftcards!

I will go the Apple Store on Stockton in San Francisco. While I expect a slightly shorter line than last year at 6p, as other posters have noted, the fast, just-pick-it-up procedure is now gone. With in-store activation required, it will take probably all evening to process the 500-or-so people in line... :(

Apple store in Aventura, FL ..i live across the street from the mall :)

waiting for it is torture since i sold my 2G iphone :(

Thinking about the Apple Store in Indianapolis at Keystone at the Crossing, but I may do the local ATT store since it's less than a mile away.
