I've been using Perfect Browser for a few days now and really like it. I much prefer tabbed browsing over the constant shrink/expand experience of mobile Safari. The caching on each tab seems to be better as well; items that would reload when switching pages in mobile Safari stay loaded with Perfect Browser. It also supports multitouch gestures, private browsing, and forced loading of standard versions of websites. The only downside is that the icons do seem a bit out of place in the iOS environment. Other than that, no complaints.

I have icab and Atomic. Is there any way to enable search suggestions for either of these? How about importing bookmarks?

Edit: found the suggestions in icab.

I use icab exclusively. My iPad is jail broken, so I use browser changer to make it the default browser, and have hidden safari, so you can only find it with searchlight. Other then the occasional crash, icab does everything I want. The tabs function well, I like being able to download files, and frequently spoof other browsers to make sites work. Browser changer makes every link open in it, and works like a charm.

This.

Safari. Ease of use and interface does it for me.

Doesn't bother me that iCab isn't the default at all
And I will use Safari too
But when I choose to open one, it is iCab
Yup. When I eventually jailbreak my iPad again, I'll add the 'Browser Changer' tweak to enable iCab to be the default. I love the tabbed browsing, and it looks as good as Safari, if not better.

I agree and this is part of the reason I initially got iCab. IMHO iCab has very native looking icons.

This illustrates the problem with iCab. It has a LOT of options. Getting it setup to your liking can take more work compared to its competitors.

Safari. I've used it for years on my old iPod Touch and I haven't had any issues with it. I may try some of the other browsers though

iCab, it's excellent.

I would agree but iCab has a definitive problem with text input. Sometimes there is a significant keyboard lag which totally ruins the whole experience. Safari is the only browser that really works very well. I have also tried Atomic and it doesn't really feel like a native app.

I would love to see Apple opening up the platform. Chrome, Firefox and Opera would be welcome additions.
