My guess would be AT&T. Without solid evidence any other response would also be a guess.

If you live in an area where GSM reception sucks...CDMA is likely a better choice.

Competition.

I would guess if said execs lived in an area where AT&T sucked (NorCal anyone?) then they would probably have a CDMA iPhone. And if they traveled they would carry a GSM iPhone for that occasion. It would be easy for them to have 2 devices, especially since everything can be synced up on iTunes or Mobile Me.

signal problems or not....it's a safe bet that they ALL carry GSM iPhones because the CDMA Version is not been released yet...

Likely the GSM version for international travel. AT&T and Verizon both have masts installed in the Cupertino campus so no one has an edge there.

Does it really matter which version THEY have and use?
I mean, logic and common sense would indicate that they will use whichever version is better where they live and travel most frequently (a good guess is that coverage on the Apple Campus is going to be good no matter the carrier).

It's what I've said all along in the whole silly Verizon/AT&T battle- pick the carrier that gives you coverage and features YOU use where YOU are and where YOU travel most often. Who cares what works best for anyone else?

I'd say exactly opposite. It's a safe bet that during negotiations and testing that most of them started carrying a Verizon iPhone.

I think you're missing the point of this thread. Nobody really cares and it's obvious none of us know. We are speculating merely for the fun of it.

I would say they probably JailBreak and use T-Mobile :D

Seriously I wonder if Jobs and all his buddies have the same iphone 4's as we do, or if they get to do whatever they want with their phones, and I am sure they have some agreement with AT&T to get their stuff FREE.

Considering Verizon just put up 10 new cell towers in the Cupertino area, I'd say Verizon.

New towers in Union City, Fremont, Sunnyvale, Pacifica, Pinole, San Jose, Vernalis, Sacramento, Granite Bay, and South San Francisco.

Another note: Verizon put up 16 new towers in the NY Metro area including 5 in Rockland, 3 in Westchester, 7 on Long Island and 1 up state.

if that were true we'd catch these Verizon iPhones in the wild...and typically only engineers test phones in development stages, not executives

Actually, I understand the purpose of the thread. What I don't understand are fans of either company telling other people what features "should" be important to them and what coverage they "should" have, etc.
So I get the idea of the fun of speculating about which version Apple Muckety's have, but don't get why some folks are off the charts in their support for either AT&T or Verizon.
What works best is what works best for you...and neither of these two behemoths is your friend!

How? They look the same. I'd bet when executives walk into meetings with Verizon, they don't bring in their AT&T iPhones. ;)

True

Agreed. I don't care which provider they choose.

the title of the thread is not whether you care or not.... it's which one do you think. Usually if people dont care about something they just ignore it and move on to the next thread.

LOL. Forget free stuff from AT&T. Jobs and his buds have the white iPhone 4. :D
