I ended up going with the Speck Presidio2 Pro for myself and my wife. It’s got a soft touch, nice raised edge for the screen, and buttons have a satisfying click transfer from the actual buttons.

Thanks for doing that video. I'm still sitting on the fence about that Blue and Brown Combo. Let me ask you another question.....I have a Apple Watch Serious 5 SS Case with Black Silicone Sports Band. How would that look with a Blue and Brown Phone?

I noticed even with the Apple protector the camera bump will take a lot of beating . Would hate to scratch the lens

the clear tech 21 is actually good! the back is a bit slick and a fingerprint magnet but at least the buttons are very clicky

It actually covers the lens it seems. Lens screen covering by film may affect the photo quality I guess. I am just being too much of an ass

I got the blue one for my 12 mini (Best Buy had it on sale for $20) and it's really nice—I've found the trick for getting it off is to pop one bottom corner and slowly "peel" along the bottom edge of the phone. It seems cases in general are a little harder to remove on these phones than the old chamfered edges of the 5/5S/SE.

Mine is the solid black as well. I just picked up the case this morning, but have not had time to look at it. Looks like my 12 PM got delivered this afternoon at home. Will check it out and let you know. Target was running a sale online for 29.99. Maybe it ended?
Here are a few pics of my new Peel cases.
This is the “soft” clear case.
I have more at different angles. If you want to see those, just let me know. This clear case is the most comfortable to use but buttons are stiffer than say the Torras clear case. The jet white is pretty much like holding the phone without a case but less slippery, not as comfortable to hold.
Have you noticed lots of dust and stuff getting in to the clear (soft) case? I was tempted by it, but I’m worried about fit and how it would hold up to occasional removals.

Yeah it’s the 6.1” Pro - I don’t think I have particularly big hands but it does look small there! I used to have a XS Max but found it too big - was even considering the mini this year, but 5.8/6.1 feels about the sweet spot. Can just about still use one handed.

It must be the photo effect on the proportions. I tried holding my 12Pro the same way and it looks so much bigger!
But I agree, 5.8/6.1 is the perfect balance between screen size and usability (even though I can't use it one handed - in fact, my one handed days go back to the 5s...!).
Sorry to be annoying but I can't find any reviews online! Is there a lip to protect the camera lens like on the Apple leather case?

I had this issue too but somebody told me to reboot the phone and then try, all works great now. Hope that helps 🙂

I've hated speck for a while now, because their cases always seemed to peel apart at the rubber corners, but this one looks pretty solid and I may check it out! I definitely do like good click transfer… I hate it when I'm not sure whether the button actually got clicked or notI ended up going with the Speck Presidio2 Pro for myself and my wife. I currently have the Kumquat Apple silicone case and a Spigen ultra hybrid case. I love the feel and color of the Kumquat case, but the Spine Ultra Hybrid is great as well. It's thin, but it still feels like it provides protection. and there's sharp corners so it's easier to hold on to
