Case turned up today, really happy with it! The California poppy really pops.

Happy with my ESR screen protector and a “Torras” case (£15) from Amazon Uk.
The back is translucent so you can just about make out the Apple logo. It comes with black buttons as standard and a packet with yellow and red replacements. I swapped the buttons for red as it gives the case a bit of contrast ( and helps identify which is the top 😁)
Only downside is the matte black back tends to show smudges.

So, is there no way to order the DBrand Grip case without also buying a skin for the case?

The other day I checked some other phones (Note 20 Ultra, Pixel 4 XL, etc), and you could still select to buy just the case with no skin. Now it seems DBrand has changed things to where you’re required to buy a skin when you buy a case no matter what phone you select.

Seems kinda crappy to make me spend an extra $10 for a skin I don’t want or need.

Seriously though, I'm waiting to see how the phone actually fits in those cases and if they make the whole thing bulkier or not. I still can't figure out the use of the little leash that comes with the case.
I think it functions like a wristlet. Having it at the ready, rather than in a pocket, means one less unsheathing maneuver. So having the leash is both a signifier that your got the hot item and a functional convenience.
Like you also wondering about the use case. I think it’s for the sleeve lovers primarily but I could see the convenience of having a card carrying function, and ability to fit a phone with a case on, as being attractive to potential converts.

Using the iPhone 12 mini I only have three cases (rookie numbers).

- Spigen Liquid Air
- Pitaka Air Case
- Apple Leather

All three of these cases have been awesome but I think my favorite is between the Pitaka and Apple leather.
Is the pit ska mostly for scratch protection, or do you feel like it’ll also provide some drop protection?

I went for the apple silicone case in black.
I have tried Rinkee and Otterbox symmetry. Found the symmetry buttons way to easy to catch 🤩

Can you post some pictures showing the Symmetry case with Magsafe? Please show the interior of case as I would like to see how Otterbox implemented the Magsafe.
Hi.
I really like this case. It’s a very tight fit but the buttons work great and it’s really a slim case. Here is how the MagSafe is on the inside of the case. The MagSafe charging is just like on my leather apple MagSafe case. For me this is a keeper. The symmetry seems more streamlined than before. I am very pleased with the case and highly recommend it.

When I had the 11 Pro I used the same Pitaka case as well and really it was mostly for added grip. I did drop the phone once or twice and I never had any issues with using the Pitaka for that. It’s not so much for scratch protection I just like the feel mostly.

Thanks for the pic. Is that just a sticker stuck to the inside of the case or is it imbedded into the plastic?

It’s doesn’t really seem to be a sticker. It seems to be placed inside. It seems like it’s got an indentation where it goes. It does not feel like a sticker to me. It definitely feels like it is embedded into the plastic because I can feel that indentation where it goes. The MagSafe connection is just as strong as on my leather apple MagSafe case as I can pick it up from the cord. And for those of you that complain like I did about how short the cord is on the Apple magsafe charger I just went on to Amazon and bought an extension for it for like I think $11 so the the cord is not so short.

After getting a Caudabe Sheath and Apple leather Saddle brown case for my 12 PM, I decided to order the black silicone and Baltic Blue leather. I have only ever used the Apple leather cases on my previous iPhones. I never even held the silicone before. I’m very impressed with the black silicone. It feels great in my hands and does not pick up lint or dust. It’s a keeper.

The Baltic blue is going back. I guess I was expecting a different shade of blue. I’m keeping the Saddle Brown and Black Silicone. It’s too late to return my Sheath. The Sheath is a great case and if it wasn’t for the defect, I would probably be using it and not explore other cases. If only I had just ordered the Apple cases initially.
