Yes no two leathers will be identical. Some are smoother and denser and some more grainy and supple. The tones can be different as well. Sequoia green leather is such a dark color that even if you pick the lighter it’ll even darken from use regardless. Personally I think the grainier leathers are nicer than the smooth ones. Here’s a grainy Midnight leather I handpicked at Best Buy a while back since you can literally open the boxes and peek at them.

Did the same thing as I prefer the grainy leather cases. They also develop a much better grip In my experience. That color combo of the midnight case on Sierra phone is so underrated. Looks superb 👌

The piece of plastic junk feels exactly the same as my Nudient case, which was 3.5x the price. Actually feels better in hand, as the Nudient case has holes cut out for the buttons.

UAG Metropolis LT for the iPhone 13 Pro. I usually don't like these types of cases, but I impulse bought this case at Best Buy today. I like it. I like the texture of the Kevlar!

I don't feel my case as the sides of the phone are open - a major thing that appealed about the case was that it retained the 'naked phone' feeling.

The case is basically a skin & serves a more practical rather than aesthetic need.
