Took a chance and ordered this beautiful case from ebay. I thought the back would be wood but it turned out to be a faux wood finish on a silky soft leathery-type material. The material appears to be glued to black plastic which gives the case its shape and lines the outer edges for protection. Feels great and provides just enough grip without being too sticky or rubbery.

I'm curious, did that full-screen tempered glass fit in the case?
And that's a 6s, I presume…

It's a 6S. Haven't installed it yet. I have it as backup. Currently using a Belkin glass SP. Will install the edge to edge after this one is done. (Scratched up; the Belkin scratches very easily)

looks like it came earlier than scheduled. yay!

the buttons are easy to feel and depress. it's very similar to the Octane Pure case on my N5. but the rounded sides on this has a much better contour that spreads its grip across the palm much better than the flat sides of the one on my N5 (which also seems to feel slightly sick). but the Octane Pure I got for my gf's S6 duos has a better overall feel minus the very stiff buttons. while these are both impact-resistant, I would have preferred them to be mil-spec shock-proof like the S6 version which doesn't have the bulk. I'm not sure why they didn't go as far as making these rated the same. maybe their larger size? but let it be known that these are still very durable.

has a black shroud which may help with light reflecting onto the lens. though it's a reflective material which I like have preferred a matte material.

alignment was perfectly fine. it's just that I'm using a qi wireless charging receiver.

something consistent with their cases is that they never ride up on the screen's edges like some Spigen/Verus/Obliq cases do, which can be a good thing if you have an edge-to-edge screen protector.

it feels really good in-hand, and doesn't have much bulk at all.

So far I've bought an Otterbox Symmetry, a Speck Clear case, an Incipio Dual Pro, and an Apple Leather case.
I'm trying to find some Sonix cases and a Kate Spade I really liked.

I have a Moshi iGlaze Armour, Speck Candyshell Grip, and Incipio Dual Pro. I have not decided what clear case or Apple case I want yet.

Got the SwitchEasy Numbers case in addition to my Apple Silicone. It is a great case if you want a simple case with protection. There are port covers at the bottom.

Much better grip than the Apple Silicone. The sides aren't as extended as much so your screen will be closer to the table if it is face down ... But the swiping gestures are much better.

Red silicone for me. Spigen ultra hybrid air cushion in rose pink for my fiancé.
