I currently use Stanza, it's free and does the job! You can put comics in folder too :D

OK Comicglass fans, just got an iPad but for some reason before on the iPad 2nd gen the comics would fit the width of the screen I now have the page but with 2 black borders.

Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?, tried changing it to fit to width by disabling everything else except for that option.

Ok initially I used the logmein app to view downloaded PDF comics. This scrolls vertically seamlessly so I can scroll down a few pages or scroll up with me lag.

Is there a actual comic app that has smooth seamless vertical scrolling? Comic glass isn't smooth it jumps for page to page and good reader only offers jumping from one page to another. If anyone knows what I mean with the logmein viewer and can recommend something I can use for CBS files too I'd appreciate it

Comic Express allows you to scroll vertically as an option.

If you just want smooth vertical scrolling for PDF's, try PDFMate. It's free and allows smooth vertical scrolling across pages with horizontal zoom lock. That way, you can zoom out the margins and if your finger moves from side to side as you scroll down, it won't float the image to the side.

any updates?

I have a question though.

I plan on putting all the New 52 series onto ipad however

I want to organize them into Folders for series IE Detective, Flash, Justice League

What is the best app and or computer program(for windows) that will let me organize them into folders/series quickly and easily?

Like a lot of apps what works best for you is a pretty personal thing. I tried a few that for one reason or another didn't work all that well for me. FWIW I ended up locking on Comic Zeal - I know its a little pricey but for me its the best one going - although it did take a little time to get used to using the slider.

Bookman does this...
Stanza I believe does this also...

I read some reviews for bookman on app store and some were complaining how it hard to organize. Pretty much I don't want to have to rename each comic on the iPad in folder or series. I just want a quick way on iPad or computer to do it, does stanza offer that? Any other apps or programs that work with apps

You can't directly or automatically put them in a folder unfortunately. But, this is fairly easy in Comic glass. When you add new files, it dumps them in the main folder. Then you click the edit button and tap each one, select move, and the folder you wish to move them too. It's pretty quick. Also, you can set up web server on your Mac, and point Comic Glass too it. I think this will then let you keep your folder structure in sync. I haven't played with this, but there are details on the web of how to do it.

One trick you can do, is if you want to transfer a folder full of comics, on your mac give it a .pkg extension, which makes it look like 1 file. iTunes will then copy that entire folder over, and it appears as a folder in comic glass.

Sadly I don't have a Mac, is there a way to do it on windows

You can do it on the computer. That is how I do it. Then sync.
