Hi,

I'm a casual gamer and mainly play games dowloaded via Steam – though Apple Arcade also looks interesting.
In the past, I've only used my keyboard but now want to upgrade to a game controller. Ideally in the £30 range.

I'm not too worried about quality / ergonomics – it just needs to work. (Though I don't mind installing system add-ons if need be).

Can anyone recommend anything?

Many thanks!

I'm not on Mojave but I do recommend a Microsoft Xbox controller, which I have. I'd say get an original Microsoft one too, as I got a parallel market one previously but it didn't last long. I got a USB one, its got a great, long cord on it and is compatible with all games. "It just works."

Are you (the OP) referencing a console type controller or something else?

The concept is great. Last I recall there were Mac drivers. This issue is that the Nostromo is discontinued, and the Tartarus is more expensive.
