Between BJ and HD, I prefer BJ, however I messed up in the poll (voting BJ) in actuality I prefer Baskin & Robbins (Pralenes'n Cream). My wife prefers the HD Leche, whatever the heck it is... :)

I don't think I'm going to find many allies in this: I prefer organic ice cream. No super processed white sugar, not too much puss in the cream, thank you! I quite like Alden's Ice Cream; their Peanut Butter Chip is pretty good. If you mix a healthy amount of matcha in with their vanilla ice cream, you get a pretty decent green tea ice cream. It's a bit sweeter than you'd find in Japan, but then this is America, everything's extremely sweet!

I worked with this skinny guy who could 5 gallons of banana ice cream in a day. though most of the time only half of it.

of course he could have been lying but I never got that feeling. but it is not like you are guzzling ice cream.

For me, nothing compares to Carl's Ice Cream in my hometown of Fredericksburg, VA. It's on the National Register of Historical Places and has been featured on more than one food TV show (PBS Ice Cream Special and Food network's Unwrapped).

However, going there is a bit like going to get soup from the Soup Nazi. It's the best you'll ever have but the line moves fast and they only take cash. NEEEXT!

Being a New England native, Hood is the best.
This being my favorite.

However when I do get B and J I prefer,
