White 64GB Wifi.

I have a 64GB 3G at the moment, but find I don't use the 3G enough to warrant purchasing my future ipad with it.

I am getting a white 64GB with Pink smart cover! I will buy the 32GB, if they don't have the 64GB version in stock.

Still Undecided

Still undecided on color and size --- leaning towards white and 16GB, but can be swayed quite easily.

The toughest decision is WiFi only or WiFi/3G. I have the grandfathered unlimited plan for my iPhone 4. I have rarely gone 500 MB of data on any month since I got the 3GS in 2009, but I do hate the idea of giving up an all-you-can-eat plan that is only $5 more a month just in case I start raising that limit. If tethering was able to be added on that unlimited plan, it would be a no-brainer, I think. I only need the 3G on an "as-needed" basis, which is to say I probably won't use it that often. Tough choice there.

I don't want to jailbreak the phone.

16GB WiFi....not decided on which color to get...will see the white in person before making the call

Black 32GB WiFi + 3G. I don't need 64GB because I don't plan to put any music on it (I have my iPhone 4 for that). I'll have some movies, GPS app (large app) and it'll be nice to have a bit more breathing room than 16GB, but that's about it.

One thing I'm giving thought to is actually getting the iPad on Verizon even though I'm an AT&T customer for my phone. Why? We travel quite a bit personally (mostly for my son's soccer leagues). It's not uncommon to run into coverage issues and it might be nice to have two carrier options in this scenario. The downside is that it's then dedicated (i.e. no SIM) and I don't have the option to drop the plan and just pop in my iPhone 4 SIM when I don't have WiFi access.

I'm getting black because....well, the Apple white is so worn out it's unbelievable that they still stay with it.

Black 16GB WiFi.

Black because it makes whatever your viewing better, look at photographers who put a black border around their photos or the iMac screen. Black border is just better because it's not about the border, it's about what's on the screen and white seems to want to make itself stand out instead.

16GB because that is what my iPad 1 was and it wasn't a problem, I only had about 8GB of data on it.

WiFi because I had the 3G iPad 1 and never used the feature. I was actually easier and cheaper to tether to my iPhone 4 using MyWi.

Black 16 GB 3G (ATT)

black because i like black better than white. and i'm going for the 3G as even though i may not use it much, i feel good that it's there if i need it (for instance, extended road trip or for some reason phone service gets cut from the house for a few days after a hurricane). i don't plan on loading much music or movies, but i do plan on loading the thing with some photos and using the apps (hopefully it's enough space, this is my first iOS device and i don't know what to expect). it's going to serve as a supplement to chipper (my late 06 macbook), not replace.

I plan on getting the Black 16gb Wifi because my 16gb iPhone still has 12gb left. I also don't listen to much music and when I do pandora works perfectly for me, plus I still have unlimited data on my iPhone so why would I loose that to pay $20 more a month when I can just tether using mywi.

Nice article that might help some of you about wether buyng a 3G iPad or not.

32GB 3G, Black. I was debating about the size and 3G but, at least for today, I have decided that I want 3G for travel and I think while I might not always need 32GB, I rather have it than not. I have a 16GB 3GS and found that I had to manage what was loaded. I had rather not have to think so much about syncing.

As for the 3G vs. Hotspot - I have a hard time now managing my phone's battery particularly when I travel. I hate running around wherever looking for an electrical outlet (or carrying extra juice). And since you don't have to sign a contract for data, that's a plus. I'll only turn on a 3G plan when I need it.

Verizon or ATT: I think I am going with Verizon. In my overall experience, Verizon data is just more consistent. ATT can be great and then literally disappear around the corner. If I find I have to travel internationally, then I'll Hotspot it.

16GB wifi white.

I had the 16GB first generation and it was plenty of space. I'm normally connected to wifi everywhere I take it, so I don't really need 3G. I've been drooling over the white since the announcement, hopefully it looks as good in person. I think I'll be getting a grey Smart Cover.

This. For my significant other, and she can fit everything she needs in 16GB. Heck, it'll be twice as big as the iPod Touch she's been using. ;)

Black 64GB Wi-Fi for me!

Why? I want a lot of space for whatever I need. I won't load up on music or movies, but I plan on using it as in the field audio capturing for my short films and local music events. More space means I don't have to worry about anything. And I always go big when I can.

White 64gb
I really like the white devices. I'm going with 64 because I have a lot of audiobooks and movies I want to stay on the device. My 16gb iphone is almost full and I'm constantly having to clear out audiobooks.

Will be getting the 16GB Wifi Black model, I suspect the most popular.

I don't want/need to pay for another data plan. I my voice plan has unlimited data thrown in, and my Android phone has wifi-tethering. I use it all the time with computers and iOS devices, and it's a seamless experience, only a bit less responsive than home cable modem. Phone battery goes out pretty quickly while tethered, but I've got a spare, and it charges over micro USB, so I can charge it anywhere.

I'm leaning towards the black 16gb 3G, AT&T. I have a thing about having extra accounts and equipment for things that dont need it - This is a computer replacement for me and going 3g will allow me to skip the modem and router. AT&T because I don't want an extra bill, and $25 seems comparable to what I'd have to pay for a home internet connection. I shouldn't need more than 2GB for light web browsing, homework, email and google voice.

I no longer use phones with data plans so paying for it on the ipad won't be redundant.

16GB will be plenty of storage, especially considering the upcoming itunes cloud service which should negate the need for onboard storage almost entirely.

Which iPad 2 are you going to get?

Which iPad 2 are you going to get? I'm going to get (well I'm going to try to get) 64GB 3G Black.

Do you really care (No, you don't) or are you just trying and failing to make a thread with a high post count?

Black 16GB WIFI. Because I expect to buy the next one too and I have learned not to overbuy. The iPad like the iPhone look to be a yearly upgrade item and the way to do that without wasting money is to get the basic model and let Apple provide the feature upgrades. I expect a storage upgrade every other year so the next iPad will come with 32GB. I've found that the 3G is not worth it when WIFI is so available at home and in public places and now smart phones are offering WIFI hotspot functions.

I'm still trying to decide which "Which iPad 2 are you going to get" poll I'm going to vote in. What a dilemma.

Will be getting the White Wifi & 3G 64 gb version this time.

Had a black Wifi & 3G 64 gb with the first version and now have decided to change it up a bit by taking the white color bezel this time.
