Which iPad 3 are you on?

I highly doubt you found an ipad perfect on your first, second, or third try.

I have no reason to lie. Go search out the iPad 2 stories. I got lucky on number 6 in a brown box last year. This year I'm as shocked as anybody. I was expecting to do the iPad dance again this year.

It's my first one. I can honestly say I am very happy. Although, sometimes I do wish I had a 4g one.

Im surprised by the results. Looking at this forum you'd assume almost everyone was on their 5th device. It seems most people were happy with their first devices. I think the minority of complainers here are just the most vocal.

It's like that here with every Apple product launch. Every phone has antenna problems. Every notebook is melting down or has fans at 15,000 RPM.. etc.

And it's always impossible that anyone could actually have a suitable product.

Just the first one I got on 3/16. No problems with it at all. But apparently saying that gets your post down rated in this thread.

Very happy. My ipad2 had a dead pixel in the middle of the screen and major backlight bleeding. This one has a perfect screen with no dead pixels and zero screen bleeding and the screen looks great! :)

Apple refused to replace my first one that had half a yellow screen, so I sent it back for a refund and bought another. Still awaiting delivery.

I find it hilarious the way Apple uses their "within spec" statement. They basically write their own laws to **** consumers over.

If I bought a £2000 TV off Amazon and half of the glass on the screen was tinted a different colour, its still "within spec". However, it would be in unsatisfactory condition, and Amazon would replace it. Apple on the other hand don't seem to care at all about what you get.

Heck, If I buy a bag of Doritos I can get them replaced if I find they were already opened slightly beforehand. Why Apple refuses a straight swap when there is a clear defect to the iPad screen, the centrepiece of the entire product, is beyond me.

Perfection on the first one, which was received on the big Friday release!

I still believe that while there are absolutely some defective iPad's out there. Most likely don't have them, but they read stuff in these forums and on blogs. So they inspect the crap out of theirs and with the least little difference or what they perceive to be off, they go do a swap. Apple is too easy in my opinion. But that is me, I got a great one from day one! LOL

However, I can almost promise you that some of these folks that have returned multiple iPad's may would look at mine and see a reason to return it, yet it looks perfect to me. Nuff Said!
