Which iPad Model Did You Buy?

I bought a 64gigs 3G... I find I didn't really need the space (my music library is 80 gigs so I still use my old iPod classic for that and I don't carry many videos with me except for the ones I plan on watching)..

I did not regret the 3G for a minute though...

Actually, it shows we have some working professionals who value Apple's devices and want them, and we have some college folk who can't quite scrape together the cabbage needed to go beyond entry level, and then the rest spread in-between the two, lol.

I just picked this baby up a few days ago and I am in love!!! 🙂

Just didn't see a need to go to a higher storage size.

32gb WiFi

I purchased the mid-range wifi model. So far, I have found it fits all my needs and is perfect when in the car or at school. If I know i will be watching movies, I do a quick sync with the film/films I would like to carry with me and then I'm on my way.

I use neither the 3G nor the ~30GB of perpetually empty space.

In hindsight, a 32GB WiFi would have probably been perfect for me.

I think Apple will learn from this that only the most expensive model needs 3G and it was a complete waste on the 16GB. I perdict the 2011 iPad will not carry 3G on the smaller HDs.

Assuming this "survey" is in any way representative:

7% of 10 million = 700,000

700,000 X $130.00 = $91,000,000.00.

I suspect Apple will keep the option open.

(Oh, add in the 14% of 32GB 3Gs sold and it's another $180,000,000).

The poll is up to 187 respondents now, but the distribution of the different models has been remarkably consistent throughout the course of it's run.

The most popular model has remained close to a three-way tie between 16 GB Wi-Fi, 32 GB Wi-Fi, and 64 GB 3G - - all with about 20% of the model share.

Behind this lead trio and tied for second are 32 GB 3G and 64 GB Wi-Fi at about 15% each.

Finally, in the distance we see the lonely 32 GB W-Fi model with less than 10% wiping up the rear.

I wonder how close this is to the actual model share?

With the 64G Wifi I bought, and being happy with Pandora and other music apps, and with Netflix and streaming movies from PC -- 32G probably would have been better.
