I ordered the Silver/White one again this year. I do watch a lot of videos on my current 5S and the White one is just for me. ;)

I asked for a silver 6+ when I preordered over the phone, but my order status says space grey... TMo says all I can do is cancel and reorder at the back of the queue. Pretty annoying.

But the black looks great too with the rounded glass and all - so I'm just gonna keep it. Unless my shipping gets delayed, then I'll cancel and order a white/silver one in-store.

Same here. My order has come up space grey when I ordered silver. I assume that what I'll get is what's on the confirmation and trying to convince myself I'm not bothered. But my 5 is silver and I love it so disappointed. But don't want to go to the back of the queue.

Gold...

I caved in and bought some gold urbeats to go with them which I might regret.

Since the 3GS I've always had black and this time went for the 6 Plus in white / silver.

I hadn't thought about the white faceplate being a 'distraction' until I read about it - now in the past 24 hours I've watched a bunch of 'white / silver vs space grey' and '6 plus hands on' videos and I keep thinking 'yes, white is a distraction'. I can also see the .5mm black edge around the screen on every 'white' video (had never even noticed it until a youtube reviewer pointed it out).

Totally confused.

On video black seems to make the screen pop more than white. When switched off the entire black front seems more pleasing asthetically.

Are there an recent 'white / silver' converts that found it an issue coming from black? Any regrets, or never look back?

Space gray. All my recent Apple products have been silver, but I like the looks of the iPhone 6 in black and space gray. Hope I didn't make a mistake.

I will never ever buy a phone with a white face. It looks nice at first but in the long run, black is a safe choice. When the screen is off, the whole front is black. Very nice. (I used a galaxy s3 white)

Silver.

I had a black/grey 5S so fancied a change. I had a white iP5 and I quite liked that also.

My first two iPhones were in black (3G and 4S) and then I got a white 5. Really loved the look of it, very beautiful IMO. The only reason I went back to black/grey for the 5S IIRC was the fact that they were out of stock when I ordered.

Convinced. Switching the order from white to space grey. I like the all black front / blending of the screen.

All of my previous phones before 5s were black. I decided to purchase the white 5s because the photos during keynote looked very slick. Yeah, I was nervous, especially about the supposed distraction factor while watching video. However I experienced none of that. And really watching videos on the white phone is no different than watching tv in a room with a white wall behind it.

I got white/silver because I like how the white blends with the sms app and email, safari etc.

Black I think is better if you're mainly watching video / gaming
