5.5" for me all the way. What do you guys think though about the launch of the phone though? A few months ago everyone seemed to be saying that they would not announce it at the same time as the iphone 6. If the 5.5" version is actually going to be made, i would think it would have to be announced at the same time as the 4.7". Otherwise you would have a lot of extremely unhappy people if they announce another larger iPhone size that people wanted a month or two after they purchased the 4.7".

That leaves the 4" also, do you think they will make a iphone 6 4" and have 3 different sizes available?

Which iPhone 6 will you buy? 4.7 or 5.5?

4.7

Devices like Galaxy Note series look too unwieldy.

I think the fact that there are a lot of votes for both display sizes is good evidence that offering 2 sizes of phone is long overdue.

I'm definitely going for the 5.5" model as long as the casing isn't too huge. I'd like a larger screen to casing ratio.

Want bigger iPhone but 5.5 probably too big for me. Will try both before I decide. If pixel count the same, will likely get one with higher pixel density, I.e. 4.7 inch model.

Easy it would have to be 4.7 as it reality I want smaller.

What's the point in a phone that when it's in your pocket (if it fits) you can't sit down without taking it out.

Bring back the iPhone 4 size and then offer slightly bigger.

I have a launch day iPhone 5 due for upgrade around the time the iPhone 5 is announced. If Apple announces the 5.5" on launch day, I will upgrade immediately. If they release only the 4.7" - I will hold off purchase to see if there is a staggered release. If they eventually never release the 5.5"; I will ride out my iPhone 5 until the 6s or whatever they call it in 2015.

Im very torn on this as I used to love the size of my Note 2 and 3 for browsing and battery life. I could be tempted by the 4.7 if its out before the 5.5 - If at the same time then maybe i'll get the 5.5 solely for better battery and screen size.

if all holds true to the rumors, i'm leaning towards 4.7" but I still want to see the features or both. I hope to pre-order so I would like the specs to make the decision for me.

As long as the specs are pretty much the same for both phones I will probably buy the 4.7

This is what it boils down to for me. I'm not particularly enamored with giant phones, but even with a 4.7 I'm going to basically be stuck going two-handed so I will want to know if the 5.5 is going to have any hardware advantages over the 4.7 (e.g. sapphire display, better battery, etc.).

If they are similar in specs I will go for the 4.7. If the 5.5 will have some kind of advantage, particularly in battery life, then that's the one I'll probably go for.

Right now 4.7" but it will change depending on the specs (once I hold them both). Ideally, I want a bigger one (5.5) just to lock down myself for 2 years.

Will you be going for the 4.7" iPhone 6 or the larger 5.5" model if you plan on upgrading?

Definitely not the 5.5" phone as I like being able to use a phone one-handed.

I'll have to wait and see on the 4.7" phone to see if they reduced the bezels enough to keep it one-handed. The Moto X did this beautifully but I'm not sure the iPhone can since it has the physical home button.

Worst case scenario (both cannot comfortably be used one-handed) I'll just ride it out with my 5s for the next 5+ years and simply get a couple of battery replacements to keep it fresh.

Depends on availability. If I have to wait a few more months to get the 5.5, I'll get the 4.7. If both available at launch or 1-2 weeks apart, I will get the 5.5.

I want to get the 5.5 inch iPhone, but I won't decide until I have seen them both.
The reason for the 5.5 is that I love to use my phone to read stuff, but I find the 4 inch on the current 5/5s actually a bit too small to read comfortably.
I currently also own a iPad Air and I do not wish to sell it, because I love its 9.7 inch factor. However for reading books and such I was still debating whether I should buy a iPad mini (retina).
But I am seriously considering the 5.5 inch iPhone 6 and not get a iPad mini (retina).

Unless you have child's hands, you should have no trouble using one hand on a 4.7" phone.

5.5" if they work some sort of wizardry to make it useable with one hand with zero compromises from the battery, screen quality/durability, or camera.

I'll wait for the 6 to launch and then get 5s when it's price come down with the launch of 6

Tied of using big phones now and want something that I can use easily with one hand.

been thinking about this as well. but of course have to wait to see the impact of ios8 on battery life hehe
