There probably will not be enough 5.5"
Screens / phones to go around for us all,... Shortage of sapphire glass and battery issues.
So, don't get your hopes up

The good thing about t-mobile JUMP! If I don't like the 5.5 size, then I'll pick up the 4.7 six months later. Then six months after that, I will pick up the iPhone 6S or whatever it will be called

Aside from trading in the phone, don't you still need 12 months worth of payments for Jump?

Ive heard nothing on camera leaks.

If we bump to 12-13MP with 1.5μm+ pixels, 4.7" could be tolerable. Will buy.

If its the same 8MP as 5S, or loses the larger pixels... I'm getting a 5S.

Probably the 4.7" since I like to go jogging and don't want to carry a large phone. The 5S is perfect, I just stick the phone in my running buddy pouch (I hate armbands) and off I go. A 5.5" device might be too large/unwieldy. That said, if the 5.5" turns out to be incredibly thin and lightweight, I'll have to re-think this.

The Moto X is a 4.7" phone and I've held one in the store; I think that's a pretty good size. Not too big, not too small.

(I just checked, they make a running buddy for the Galaxy Note, so maybe a 5.5" phone is do-able)

I'd like to hear other opinions from those of you who run/jog with your iPhone.

The sheep are roaming around aimlessly without Steve Jobs the shepherd. If Steve were here all he had to do is say 5" is the perfect size and all the sheep would come together and get in the 5" line. They have already cloned sheep; why can't they clone Steve and end all this indecision?

4.3" would be optimal I think.

But I wouldn't mind a 9.7" phone. It will be released sooner or later because that seems to be trend right now.

It's every 6 Months. I switched to T-Mobile in January and have an upgrade available next month.

From T-Mobile website:

Pay 50% of your device cost to be eligible for upgrades. Trade-in of an eligible device required. Eligible device must be in good working order. JUMP! must be added within 14 days of a qualified device purchase. Device pricing may vary based on approved credit. Offer may not be available in all locations. NY residents must use JUMP! benefits prior to completing 2 insurance claims in 12 months. JUMP! upgrades from T-Mobile; trade-in benefits through CWork Solutions, LP. Program fees paid to CWork. No separate insurance fees, except in NY.

Sure you're allowed to upgrade after 6 months. However, Jump only covers half of the original cost so that means you need to give T-Mobile your device and pay off 6 months worth of payments if you decide to trade in after 6 months.

There won't be a 5.5 inch model.

Apple won't do it. It's a mute point.

They still need to milk the iPhone 5 parts (5c) along with the iPhone 5s parts.

I think you mean moot. But I still disagree. They see the consumer 'want' for the biggest phone they can smash into the side of their face and are going to capitalize on that 'want'

4.7-4.8 inch iphone screens started appearing months before the Sept iphone 5S announcement 2013

Now 5.5 inch iphone screen start appearing before the iphone 2014 announcement. It's obvious Apple is testing the 5.5 inch. I just don't think Apple will release it in 2014.

Just like the 4.-4.8 inch screen "leaks" we saw in 2013 before the 5S announcement. Apple will take their time to release another new model (5.5 inch) in 2015.

5.5" of course. It will be the standard of smartphones, as it just fits in the hand. Not too big, not too small. But it will be too big if Apple makes it, it seems. Apple always have such huge bezels. No go for me. Will not buy if the bezel is big (home button must also go. No need for a little 5.5" phone to be big). Huge phones starts at 5.7" and above.

Im with you here! 5.5" with little to no bezels is going to be the perfect size. At least I can dream they are making this, because I really dont think it will be an option.

All the rumored pics are far from bezelless. Actually looks to have one of the largest bezels I've seen on a phone of that size. We'll all have to wait and see I guess.

I really hope not. Bezels kill a good device. I think they have learned with the iPad air.

Look how great the HTC One M8 look with no bezels... :)
