S cycle.

I find that most of the time the S is the rich featured version, usually for the purpose of differentiating itself from the predecessor despite having the same form. On the new products I feel like they don't harp on the newer features as much as their new designs, it also allows time to work out the bugs of their designs, see iphone 4 -> 4s, 4s brings not only a hardware redesign for signal issues, but also siri. 4s -> 5 was largely the same phone just faster in a different body (but with LTE i suppose), but 5s brought touchID which is a significant improvement IMO.

Somehow, I found myself on the 3g -> 4 -> 5 "non-S" upgrade cycle, and not really intentionally. I upgraded to the 4 because I thought I could keep the 3g and resell the 4. I should have never opened it as I was compelled to sell the 3g instead.

I got the 5 because my 4 was having problems during a call; I could hear the person, but they couldn't hear me. Also, I wanted a bigger screen. :) I want the 5s because of the gold color, but that desire has waned away. I might not upgrade to the next one, but I might convince myself otherwise when I see it!

I'm on the "S" Cycle. I started off with a Black 16GB iPhone 4s which i was extremely happy with. I currently own a Silver/White 16GB iPhone 5s which is OK. I personally wish i purchased the black one and with at least 32GB storage.

I will most likely get the 6 or keep the 5s until the 6s(?) comes out depending on how the 6 is.

Also, i am on T-Mobile and was wondering if i ever end up filing a claim from their insurance will i be able to get a different color? or will they give me the same one i have?

I am on the every year cycle.

My phones have been: 3GS > 4 (black) > 4 (white) > 4S > 5 > 5S (Gold). I have a serious addiction. LOL.

2 year contract which is over January 2015 with the option of an early buy out. I had my iPhone 3GS for over 4 years before getting an iPhone 5 so I think I'm keeping this one till at least late 2015 and switching onto a pay and go contract to cover next years usage.

I started go 3G > Skipped 3GS > 4 > 4S > 5 > 5S and gonna get the 6. With my gma on my plan and her still using an old flip phone I get to upgrade every year. That and I can sell my phone every year since it's the "newest" and I get the phone for free every time. :D I love my cycle :apple:

I had a 3G, upgraded to 4, than 4S

Currently still using that 4S,

I skipped a whole design generation (5, 5s)

Will upgrade to 6 when it's released.

3G 3Gs 4 4s 5 5s wow 6 phones year after year i just realize that today... Guess im one of those isheeps lol

:eek::eek:

3 year contract? ugh I literally don't think I am physically capable of keeping 1 phone for 3 years lol.

In the past 2 years I have had like 5 phones.

My last upgrade was from a 3Gs all the way to the 5s. I don't see a point in incremental upgrades, and my contract is such that I pay the same or less in 3 years than many people in my area pay in 2.

Also, if I want I can just pay off the balance on my device and upgrade early.

I have no cycle, the 4s was my first iphone, gonna get the iphone 6 once that comes out.

I'm incapable of keeping one for a year! I've had over 15+ in 5 years...

Those are just ones I've used as phones. I've got quite a bit more I bought just to play with. ×_×
