Which Mac is the awesomest in every aspect?

Perhaps I should've asked, if people had no Mac, which one would they rather have?:D

Damn you Mac Pro people. I can't belive the 17" iMac actually got a vote. It's smaller and lighter, but since it is a desktop, I see no benefit whatsoever...:D

I know, not *QUITE* a Mac, but it's of the same lineage.

I'd want a mint-in-box Apple Lisa (the true original, with those funky Twiggy disks,) fully functional, with complete set of accessories.

Then I'd sell it to buy a pair of fully decked out Mac Pros. :p (Even if I was given it for free, even in my current strapped-for-cash state, I'd still keep it, rather than sell it to get a 'modern' Mac.)

Well if I was given any configuration for free from Apple, I'd take the Mac Pro, and no, I wouldn't sell it. But if I were to buy a Mac myself, I'd never get more than a 15" MBP.

However, if given one for free, I'd get a Mac Pro + two 30" display because I'll never get the chance to own one of those (not enough dosh). Hell, I've never even touched a Mac Pro. I'd take that and keep it under my desk because I haven't owned a desktop in years, and because it's awesome. I would always buy myself a laptop because I need portability and can't afford (as a student) to own 2 computers for no reason. :eek: However, if I could own a Mac Pro, of course I would. :) My MacBook is good, though.

So in a way, we're all answering the question correctly. I want a Mac Pro with two 30" Displays, Quadro video, and 16 GB of RAM purely because of it's awesomeness.
 
I would take the Mac Pro. Half a year ago I would have picked the MacBook Pro (which I currently own), but I don't really need the portability any longer. If I would have to buy one today (if I lost my MBP today), I would get a white MB with superdrive, because the combination of price and portability beats the other machines for me.

So why the Mac Pro? Because I want to have a clean desk without beeing cluttered with external hard drives and external optical drives.
 
I picked the mac pro just because you can do things much faster then any other mac. I really enjoyt the mac mini for the size and the all in one iMac for the amount of space you can save.
 
Well, it seems as if you are asking two different questions. Which Mac is the "awesomest" and which you would take for free. IMO, the iMac is the "awesomest" simply because it is an amazing machine that is built into an all in one package. The one I would take for free? Definately not the iMac, taking it that I own one (a top of the line one, actually), so I would end up taking the Mac Pro hands down. I would sell it, of course, I don't need that kind of machine. But when voting I basically combined the two questions and voted for the 15" MBP, because it is awesome, and I would love to have a great notebook if it was free.
