Which Macbook 2017 is suitable for me?

I want to buy a second hand nMB 2017
My main need is to browse the web, make some excel, words, and occasionally need PS and LR.
My question is: is the difference big between m3 and i5 in doing some simple PS?
As I remember I used 2016 m5, in normal use there is still some slow.

But in Chinese second hand market, there is only m3/8G/256G i5/8G/512G.
i7/16G/512G is too expensive for a second hand computer.
So 8G RAM is ok for your job?

2017 Core m3 with 16 GB and 256 GB. That’s what I have. 8 GB may work but 16 GB may be of benefit for you for some usage.

i5 is not much benefit. The only reason to get the i5 is if you want a 512 GB SSD.
