Neither appear to have the upgraded display. IMO, 1680x1050 should be the standard for a 15" laptop. I find it ridiculous that in 2010, Apple still sells MBPs with a 1440x900 resolution display standard. HD & Ram can be upgraded later, and the benefit from more/better isn't as blatantly obvious when using it as a higher resolution screen is. I've never used the Xcode IDE, but I'm fairly certain that any development IDE is best served by as much resolution as you can possibly afford.
