Guys I think I found what was draining my battery on my i5 very fast.
I had to keep charging my phone over 3 times a day to make it through without it shutting off.
I only have about 8-9 packages installed so wasn't hard to pinpoint.
It was Fakeclockup.
Since I removed it I got a full days use with one charge only. Its almost midnight and I still got 21% left since I unplugged it this morn at 8am.
If anyone is having battery issues like me remove it for a day or 2 and see if that does it for you. Never had a problem with it installed with ios 5 and 6 before. But not worth it now on ios7 IMO.

I had that and many other tweaks installed and noticed drain and uninstalled all. Will try without that and see how it is. There are other options such as accelerate to look into.

Maybe try noslowanimations

Not sure bro.
I can live without the faster visual effects.
But my battery dying so fast and with not even doing much is pointless IMO.

Maybe try noslowanimations

I'm scared to try anything that speeds up animations now:D
lol
Do you have it installed currently? Any issues with battery?

hmm, really? that's interesting. I have it installed and I haven't noticed any sort of battery drain

which version of fakeclockup are you using?

I was using the latest version from the authors repo.
0.5-6
You haven't noticed no battery drain at all?
Weird, maybe a combination of that and another package would cause it?
But ever since I removed it battery has improved a lot for me.

I have NoSlowAnimations running now (and when I ran top the other day for this test). I didn't notice any significant CPU usage by Springboard, which is what NoSlowAnimations hooks into, and I haven't noticed any significant battery drain.

All my money to Activator... Everyone know it drains battery like crazy.

that's the same version I have too. I'm not sure, I haven't noticed any battery drain. I'll try removing it for a day and see how it turns out

The slow animations are going to drive me insane :(

Thanks, I'll give it a shot then;)

Give it a shot for a full day or charging cycle and see if you notice anything.
I had mine setup at 3.3x

That's what I hear a lot so I haven't even bothered with it.
I only used activator before just to setup a quick compose gesture for bitesms. But if they don't improve or fix it I probably wont even bother.

I'm using NoSlowAnimations on my 5s on 7.0.4 and haven't had any significant hit to battery life. I go to work in the morning on a full charge and come home with normal battery life remaining. If you try it out, please let us know how it works for you. Thanks!

Activator for sure. It is always "on" listening for gestures. It always drains my battery when I install it.

I read the same for virtualhome, but I have no personal experience.

If the tweak needs to always be on for it to work, then it will drain your battery.

My battery has been really sucking on this new jb too and I don't even have that many items installed.
I need to charge it like 3 times a day now and battery dies very fast.
I'm gonna start removing one by one per day to see if I can pinpoint the battery hog hack.

any luck with this? Have you managed to find a specific tweak draning the battery?

EDIT: Ignore me, I just read your reply above :) I uninstalled fakeclock as well. Will give it a go for few days...

Virtual home may also be a contender. Let us know.

no issues here with NoSlowAnimations... it seems like my battery is normal. I love this tweak! I have my speed set at 0.35. Every time I use my wife's iPhone 5, it's soooo slow! (the animations, that is).

I have definitely noticed some amount of battery drain compared to pre jailbreak, and would like to know if any of these tweaks would be the culprit:

Activator
iTunesRadioUnlimited
PandoraSkips
Gridlock 2

These are not causing your problems, my battery is better than ever and this is all I'm running.

Supposedly activator has listeners all the time that hurt it.

I'm only using 2 features in Activator so maybe that's why I'm not having any issues. Mine has been off charge for 14 hours now and I'm at 71 percent still.

It worked out well for me once I removed it no issues.
Let me know how it goes.

OK gentlemen, Activator and fakeclockup found guilty! I uninstalled both on my iPhone4 even that improved my battery life not major but still haven't plugged my phone almost 12hr:eek:
