I have them both, and find them quite useful. Excited? Not really, I expect Apple to produce useful products.

The iPad will probably continue to lead the poll since it's the newest Apple toy & heavily hyped. They will both do just fine.

My iPad at the moment but it'll be my phone again once I have the new one with all it's upgrades and Siri over my iPhone 4. I still feel like Siri should have been on the iPad. They'll add it next year as a new feature though.

the new ipad. long battery life, nice screen, reading comics is awesome. but it's not with me all the time. because it's too big
to bring it out and use it all the time
outside. so iphone 4s for me because it's with me all the time. confused? :p

wishthe rumor about ipad mini will be released this year turns out to be true.

i tried so many other 7" tablets like galaxy tab and playbook but none of them brings the joy an smoothness like the ipad does.

I picked iPad even though I use my Galaxy Nexus more. After looking at the comments you guys would love a Galaxy Note sized Apple device. But since Apple likes to clearly define categories I doubt we would see a super large iPhone. When the Galaxy Note comes to Verizon my iPad days are numbered.

For when I am at home my iPad. For when I am at work and no way can I carry an iPad with me, my former iPhone 4 (current Galaxy Nexus) has served me very well.

Both devices were serving my exclusive needs, but I would have to say using the iPad is a real joy, while checking email/browsing web on the phone is something you just learned to compromise as there's really no other option for the sake of convenience.

I'm an early adopter of the iPad, but my iPhone is more useful. I like keeping things in a pocket etc.... An iPad is quite larger, which requires a bag or case.

I like them both. But I guess it depends why we are going to use it for. I will like to get them both for different reasons when my current expires. The pad seems like a good compact laptop on the go, but I cant call on it and the phone seems very versital and portable, but its harder to browse with it than iPad.

I am happy with both, but I am "most happiest" with the new iPad: using the iPad with the retina display and LTE gives me a bigger smile than the iPhone. :D

Sorry to all you people who takes it so hard that I'm not from an English-speaking country. Unfortunately. However, thanks to all of you who are not interested in it and instead of that answered relevant to my question. :)

iPad improved my life, iPhone changed it.

Absolutely this.

I use my iPad more, but always carry my iPhone. I could live without the iPad if I had to, but I still need at least a phone, with the iPhone I get to keep my life (calendar, appointments, notes, password vault, etc) with me as well....

I've been in love with my 3GS and then the 4S. Just got a new iPad and now I don't use my iPhone at home at all except for text/calling. The iPad is amazing!

Definitely iPad. I'm sticking with my Android phone until the keyboard gets better on iPhone.

iPad! It's just perfect. My iPhone is ok but it's not a great phone, but the extras make up for that.
