Based on the way the screen protectors are cut, with only two or maybe three variations in the cuts, it would not surprise me if only two companies / suppliers really make them. Whether you by it from company A or company B, I bet it is the same product with just different packaging.

Of the ones that don't cover the curved part of the glass, are there any brands that are particularly good at what they do cover? I have seen some people complain that theirs didn't even cover the visible part of the display.

Agreed. I have the Maxboost one on my iPhone 6 and I love it. I plan on getting the same thing for my iPhone 6S+ for $7.99.

Im actually going with the new Spigen one available on amazon for 50% less than their website....hint..

for 2 reasons: they say it works with force touch, and they'll reimburse if it doesn't... so its a free trial (if it doesn't work), and if it does, its one of the highest quality versions for $9!

I emailed spigen about it, a really nice girl (stacy) said that its only going to be at that price until the 25th.. so may as well get it huh?

what I want to know is will zagg transfer the glass protector i have on my 6+ to the new 6s+ or make me buy an entirely new one?

If its on your 6+ now, why would they replace it? you bought it for that specific phone?

I'm not arguing that point since it's valid, but as I'm assuming it is the same protector with no changes, it *could* be transferred over. They do this no questions asked if I were to need to get a phone replacement from Apple and put a new protector on the refurbished replacement (install fee only).

That being said, I'm sure they'd like to charge me $35+6 again. Though I'm probably going to go the yearly upgrade route and with AppleCare +, I may just go naked on the screen. Esp with the jury out on 3D Touch impact.

So tomorrow I'm going to preorder the new iPhone 6S and I want to be ready for the moment it will arrive with full protection.
I'm going to had to my order from Apple the new Brown leather case and I want to know which Full Screen Tempered Glass will work great with this case.
I really would like to know which one are you getting ? Is it the Budygurdz one or any other high quality Glass screen protector .
Please advise me which one I can get right now to be ready

Thanks
I got the two pack of glass ones from Slickdeals. http://slickdeals.net/f/8100364-3-p...ectors-0-50-more-free-shipping?src=SiteSearch

Can't beat that price for such good reviews.

I guess I'm old school, but I just get the film protector since they come 3 to a package for around $5. I change them out every once in a while.

Thanks for the hint! I got one. I have been using wallet cases and don't usually use screen protectors because the ones I've tried made the display look bad. But this looks promising.

Which Spigen one did you order from Amazon?

Thanks!

Am I the lone crazy guy who likes Power Support films rather than glass protectors?

no, their crystal films are the only thing ive used for almost ten years. however i just took mine off my 6 the other night because i got so so sick of looking at the non edge to edge protector and really dont see a good option even a year in. not sure how i feel going without one.

iPhone 6s Plus Screen Protector, Spigen® [Tempered Glass] Most Durable [Easy-Install Wings] iPhone 6 Plus / 6s Plus Rounded Edge Glass Screen Protector [Life Warranty] - SGP11634

I picked up a Tech Armor glass protector because it was a good deal, but I wish I would have waited because some of these are better deals....

Anyone used Tech Armor glass on their iP6? Thoughts?

Those of you getting the Spigen one from Amazon, which are you getting, the totally clear one currently listing for $7.99 or one of the colored ones listing for $10.99.

I've got the clear one on order but notice it's narrow and therefore leaves quite a bit of the glass over the side bezels exposed and my Spigen case lip won't cover that.

But while the colored ones offer what looks to be full edge to edge protection, I'm not sure how exact the color match is to the bezel or how forgiving the application will be.

I ordered two edge to edge glass screen protectors (not Spigen) today from Amazon -- the first late last night (1am) and then the second this afternoon (3pm).

First: Daswise 6 Plus Tempered Glass Full Screen Edge to Edge protector with white border (B00QZRYLB6); $10.99 Prime
Second: KuGi 6S Plus Full Coverage Tempered Glass protector with black border (B013UMDZ74); $5.50 Prime

Why did I order both, and in different colors? Well, a few reasons:

1) I'm going with a white-faced iPhone for the first time (yellow gold) so white seemed the best option for the first protector.

2) I keep wondering what a gold iPhone with a black face will look like, even though it will have a white button and possibly a tiny bit of white peeking out around the outer edges, so I went with black for the second one.

3) I've run across several of these edge to edge glass protectors on Amazon today and really think that they are probably all the same product... so when I found the KuGi one for half price and still free Prime shipping and immediate availability, I decided to get it so I could check out first hand if they were really the same product under different names or not.

So now I should be getting two new edge to edge glass protectors sometime this Friday. A year ago when I was waiting for my Space Grey iPhone 6 Plus, I ordered the Zagg Glass (not edge-to-edge) protector. The gap around the edges has bothered me a little at times but I still feel like it's a good product. Their new iPhone 6S Plus edge to edge protectors are not yet available for ordering (and no indication of when they will be), so I went hunting for alternatives and found many. I'm also kind of wondering if the Zagg protectors are the same product as the others, but with a premium price. I feel like I got good service from my Zagg protectors (broke two so far while in use), but I would rather pay $5.50 to $11 if I'm getting the same product either way. Even if the ones I ordered today don't seem like the same quality as my old Zagg Glass protector, I'll be happy to have them around for what little they cost as backups. When I've broken my Zagg protector, I have to pay $6 for shipping and handling for the free replacement, plus then I have to spend another few bucks to ship back my broken one.

Ordered a Zagg but I'm concerned about the thickness given the news about Apple suggested thickness. I'm sure it would be ok but who has tried a reliable glass protector under or at 0.3?

like I've mentioned before, its only a suggestion from apple.. to save themselves the hassle of complaints if one doesnts work. Also notice, the ones for sale in the apple store are all 0.3mm, and thats NOT bc they are the only ones that work, its just a marketing ploy to keep the shares within their product lines.

basically, 0.4mm (like my spigen one i ordered) will be fine..

its like a company saying they kill 99% of germs, its a safety for apple

I don't disagree but if I stay within those specs I know I won't have a problem. I would like an edge to edge glass protector at or less than 0.3mm.
