Amanda Tapping is one of my favorites too, but maybe not in that way.
SG-1, one of the best series ever 😀
Check out Sanctuary too.

She have also directed some stuff later too.
I'm rewatching SG-1 currently. One of my favourite Scifi shows as well.

Other than that, I binged Wednesday last week. One of the few contemporary american shows that I enjoyed.
Characters and actors are great, the plot is sometimes a bit meh, but I really enjoyed the composition and lighting in the scenes. I was very impressed.
Finally I get the feeling that Full HD is actually used, rather than having scenes distorted by motion blur, low data rate / too high compression, closed aperture and various post filters that destroy the optical details of a picture.
Only thing left to do is using 60fps instead of the usual 30fps stuttering image. But yeah, bandwidth and storage is expensive, got to cheap out somewhere.

I just saw that Solar Opposites is staying and will re-cast too.

I have mixed feelings about Roiland. The seriousness of these charges can't be ignored. But at the same time, I am troubled by the lack of due process when it comes to peoples' jobs. An accusation alone should not be enough to can someone immediately.

This. It seems, all it takes as an allegation and you are now left in the cold. Not saying he didn't or did do anything he has been accused of, but I man, if there is any allegation thrown at you, stand by!

I love R&M, and I am hoping it continues, but I am highly doubtful.

On my final episode of the anime Rainbow: Nisha Rokubou no Shichinin. Finding one friend like those boys would be enough for me. Having five such friends...more than I could ever dream. The last time I saw an anime that had me bawling this much was Grave of the Fireflies.

My only complaint is "An-chan" Sakuragi seems way, way to mature for someone who's only 18. Hail, I'm not that mature and I'm several time older. He possesses the wisdom of someone who has lived well over 80. I like how the boys call him An-chan instead of Aniki, which would color them as delinquents. They aren't in my book.

Gonna binge on another anime, Monster, next.

Now that I am much older I tend to cheer for the younger people in love :)
A nine episode Japanese romance drama at Netflix, My First Love.

I was a huge X-Files fan and watched the first go-around religously. But when the revival came on, I never caught it. Not that I wasn't interested, I was just sort of like "eh."

Sometimes, you just can't capture lightning in a bottle twice.
X-Files got a remaster.

Original film negative was rescanned and corrected for 1080p 16:9.

No cropping from original 4:3 480i video cassette copies or pan & scan.

It looks awesome on a 77" OLED TV

Makes me wish I first watched the series in its 2K blu-ray box set remaster in 2016 when I bought the OLED TV.

I did just that with the Shield & the Wire. People who first watched them hated the remaster because it was reframed from original 4:3. Truth is the executive producers framed them originally to be 16:9 safe so that future releases would not have a physical impediment to doing so.

Hell, I wish I watched all that I've watched in the 80s, 90s, 00s & 10s the 2nd time as 2K blu-ray remasters.

Where did you get the X-Files remaster? Just checked Amazon and Best Buy and couldn't find it. I got a SG1 remaster and the first 7 seasons in 16:9 are awesome!! Got it from Amazon.

Gonna start watching Echo 3, The Last Of Us is just not a good story, this weeks episode was totally pointless and completely changed the character. And Ellie’s character is just deviating far too much from the game character now where as Joel isn’t.

I have nothing against those that have played the game, but I'm glad I haven't.

I'm still enjoying The Last of Us & can't believe the hate some are throwing online at Bella Ramsey because she is a different Ellie from the game. The show is an adaptation and not meant to be a 1 to 1 copy of the source. The show runners told a beautiful story with episode 3.

I think it’s partly the shows fault, because the first episode followed almost exactly the opening of the game. The second episode did too. So it looks like they will and won’t follow the game, which makes it very confusing. Either way I doubt I’ll continue to watch it. The original game was a masterpiece. Episode 3 was entirely pointless as they killed both the characters at the end of it.

I wonder if they will be back for some flashback sequences, sort of what they did with Tessa (maybe her name) in the last episode.

You’d hope so, otherwise I’m not sure why they made the hour and a half episode? Yes it may show love and relationship, but it was as though the apocalypse didn’t exist, and it didn’t add anything to the overall story.

For those who enjoyed episode 3 of The Last of Us, you might enjoy this BTS look at the episode.
I love how the show runners tied everything both painful and beautiful together in one episode.

I watched them all... Started watching these during the original GOT run and pretty much any show they have now, and they do this I watch them. There is a lot of cool tidbits can be had by these.
